Seaby will travel

Hmmmmm, im pretty confident Mummy will be a late withdrawal now....yet again.

Not sure if i want to put up with Redden's score.

Tempted to trade him out now for one of Ryder/Kruz.

Although saying that im not fully sold on Kruz and with Hille out i think Ryder may spend more time forward now.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Mumford named, but Seaby listed as an emergency.....arrrrghhhh wat do...

Any swans fan confident in Mummy playing this week?

Naming a ruck as emergency makes it seem like there might be some doubt about his back....

Don't think I'll put him on the ground. Even if he does play, he might not perform to expectations.

What's the chance they will play with 2 ruckmen?

Seaby was emergency in round 1 as well and Mummy still played so I wouldn't be too worried there

YES! Brogan named in the ruck. Hopefully that means a lower return from Giles, and since I have a two premo ruck strategy, an advantage over most of the front runners (and half of the teams) as most seem to have gone with the 1&1 ruck set up. :)

Now... only if Mumford can be a late withdrawal again... ;)

I reckon Brogan in the ruck might actually help Giles, am I the only one?

You probably are;). Nah it all depends how he is used..A marking forward would equal a fail..but loose man "bigger body down back" then he will. However brogan is no fwd so im tipping the he will be down back more than giles.

Same here.

Anyway it's mere speculation with no data to go upon. Given his scoring so far in 2012 (and where Giles comprehensively beat an AA ruckman), you'd be crazy to not put Giles on the field if you have him and you don't have two premium ruckmen.

Even if I get a second premo ruck at some point, I will not be trading out Giles if he can maintain a 75+ average for the season. He's the insurance policy that will pay out if you ever need him. Come DT finals he could come in very handy.

With Giles doing well there's bigger concerns - in my side at least - than worrying about Mummy. Scored 91 and now's the time to worry about cash cows and proven howlers, not getting Kreuzer.

Giles is my 2nd ruck. Will probably cop a hit with Brogan in and v the Eagles but thats life. I plan to run with him until his price peaks or cash allows before upgrading. My other ruck is Cox with Orren/Longer on the bench.

He looked terrible v. GWS.

I don't/didn't ever have him, but he didn't get off the ground all night. No leap at all.

I figured leg injury of some kind.

Really think he's struggling.

I don't have to worry about Mummy anymore :).

Traded him to Ryder, hoping it pays off!

Decided to skip Kruezer too, thankfully he didn't do too well tonight.

Ok had to dig this thread back up, lets discuss ruck options for Sandi/Mumford owners..

HMac (87.8) :$346,500. Goldy dropped should score much better, but for how long? Missed his big initial price rise..

Kreuz (78.2) :$341,600. Playing mostly forward, Warnock to return.

McEvoy (82.2) :$411,900. Quite reliable, no contest for no1 ruck spot, not giving us good enough premo scores.

Ryder (102) :$424,400. Scoring well even with Hille/Belly. Will he be consistent enough though? Seemed to have a tad more hunger in him this year..

Other left field options Roughead (Haw), Minson, Hale? Would require massive balls and bit of desperation..

Last option, go straight down to a rookie and get our $ back and upgrade other positions.

It hurts if you've gone Mummy-Sandy to trade again, but you're probably better off admitting your mistake and finding someone more reliable - even if they don't have Sandy's scoring power.

Shocking rucks this year, other than Giles, bless his soul.

Yer I started with Cox and Mummy, hoping it would be a reliable set and forget combo.. was tempted to go Mummy -> Sandi last week, thankfully I didnt.

Just agonising over which reliable option to trade out Mumford to now.. Giles has been very solid, should score well again with Brogan out this week, but just not convinced with the 1/3 structure.

Want HMac, but Rnd11 would just kill me then..
