Snake looks to be extremely 'Invested' In Dusty - The Devastation will be too hard for you to fathom and you might just become a Richmond supporter with the amount of love you have for Dusty old boy
How can he be "listed" if he isn't contracted?
A contract isn't fulfilled because a club offers one, it must be signed by the player party in order to be a contract.
I can understand your anguish about the situation, but what I posted is correct.

We can arrange something for a nice snake like you - Would be my pleasureLobotomies have been officially outlawed.
Not just Dusty either. He also thinks Kelly is Done and dusted.Snake looks to be extremely 'Invested' In Dusty - The Devastation will be too hard for you to fathom and you might just become a Richmond supporter with the amount of love you have for Dusty old boy
No anguish on my part. I just find it a humorous.
Unfortunately when you told yourself you were correct and smarter than everybody else, someone told you a porkie pie
There are certain seperate list lodgement deadlines. All players are contracted to a certain date, 31st October in the year the contract expires.
So you can become out of contract, but the club doesn't delist you. So for a period of time a player may be basically in limbo. You may be uncontracted but not delisted. There is a time frame to how it works.
It seems you may not be across all things related to UFAs, RFAs or DFAs or how it works.
When it is mentioned that a player a player can enter the draft. It is singular, it doesn't say he can enter either draft, or any drafts.
To me, that means the ND.
Not just Dusty either. He also thinks Kelly is Done and dusted.
Understand the angle you are getting at, but player movement is gradually picking up year by year, and it will eventually get to the stage of NRL/American sports where players will move a lot more freely. Free agency has already seen it progress from where it was 15-20 years ago and it will be a different landscape in another 15-20.
Martin will stay because Richmond can't afford to lose him and will match, but if they continue the upward trend they are on, it will be reduce their capacity for them to bring in another big name recruit in the future.
Hence the amount of our alleged offer, it's one that will make Richmond at least thinking a lot about their list management.
Days are gone where champions stay for reduced coin.
I think both will stay.- Martin to stay with Richmond has always been my position.
- Kelly to North
Switch from a club that has won nothing for nearly twenty years to a club that has won nothing in 37.Looks like the North fans are really invested in Dusty and will be devastated when he signs and says - Nah thanks to north
Must be really depressing to be so invested in a player from another club,Perhaps consider supporting Richmond guys
...........it's accepted in the media that he is holding out to see how Richmond's on field fortunes pan out as one of his key criteria.............
I can see the fatal flaw in your argument.

It doesn't hurt to read the rest of the post, especially the very next line where I say that I'm not buying it![]()
On this seasons form he has to be up to between 1.3 and 1.5 million for us to keep him now. Other clubs will have to offer a lot more. If he wants to stay we keep him, if he decides to move on some club who has saved space in their war chest will have the ability to front load a contract for 10 million over 6 years with 3 million up front to push us out of the running. (that club will need to do some serious ass kissing with its playing list and back load a lot of contracts to stay inside the club's limit)
If he chose to go I suspect it would be a little like the situation with Danger, he wanted a good deal for Adelaide his old club.
I think he will want to stay but we have gotta make it worth his while. He has 5 or 6 really good years ahead of him and maybe 2 or 3 on the wain.
Interestingly the only club in the AFL which can pretty much guarantee at least one premiership in the next 5 years would never be able to afford him.
We'd match 1.5, we'd pay that, or force a trade. Club won't let him walk for a compensation pick in the teens of the draft.Brownlow medalist Fyfe is reportedly re-signing on something around 1.1-1.2.
Dusty is good, but not worth 20% more than fyfe- no matter how ordinary fyfes form has been this year.
Tigers offer to dusty will be around the same ballpark as fyfes freo deal 1mill-1.2.
Other clubs will be offering him 1.5ish.
Why don't you stop the horror show and pay it now???We'd match 1.5, we'd pay that, or force a trade. Club won't let him walk for a compensation pick in the teens of the draft.

If you'd pay it you would hope for your clubs sake it wouldn't get to the point that you have to match the offer. We'd match 1.5, we'd pay that, or force a trade. Club won't let him walk for a compensation pick in the teens of the draft.

You don't know that. You desperately hope that, but you don't know it.We'd match 1.5, we'd pay that, or force a trade.
Because Dusty probably figures he'l get more money by waiting, and won't sign before end of year. Why don't you stop the horror show and pay it now???
It would be the only sensible thing to do in the circumstances. You don't know that. You desperately hope that, but you don't know it.
