I watched the last quarter on replay. After the game finished he said "North are looking to spear into the teams above them on the ladder" or something similar twice in the space of 30 seconds.
He is an absolute tool.
I saw Petrie's goal on the news, and laughingly predicted he'd say "in your dreams". Sure enough, two seconds later out it came. What a fecking idiot.

It's like a Playstation sports game that you have played so many times, the commentary has cycled in your memory and you know exactly what they will say before they say it.
Just walked into the room where the TV is on, heard him commentating, waited for a cliche to come forth.
Took one second for him to say "can get and go".
It's like clockwork, isn't it?
You could bet the house on "shorts it" spewing forth within the first minute of a game.
We should have a shorts it emoticon.
:shortsit:
It's found its way on to channel 10 as well. Heard Huddo (I think it was him) say it during the saints/cats game last night.

I think I also heard a "that's as good as it gets!"
He's already said the following today:
"Shorts it"
"Natives a little restless"
"Can get and go"
"Splendid"
I think I also heard a "that's as good as it gets!"
Along with other irrevelant information such as Matt Thomas' "victims" (Hentschel and Bassett) when he layed a strong tackle on Scott Selwood (I think).
