I really like the imagery he creates in Masters of War, although I'm convinced it is a narrative. I'll have to think about it.

Another favourite is One More Cup of Coffee, although same thing, not sure it's a narrative.

I've never ever GOT Bob Dylan. Basically all the greats from that era are stuck in my alltime top ten, but Dylan's never moved me at all. His acclaim is the final proof of the Jewish Bakers conspiracy, imho.

I don't get The Beatles (i understand them, but i don't "get" them), but i get Bob Dylan. Strange how the world works isn't it. Both massive in the over all scheme of music, but to an individual they are worlds apart...

For the times, they are a changin

Can't believe "Desolation Row" hasn't been mentioned yet - it is a narrative - a panoramic overview with occasional first person intrusion ("as lady and I") and a direct addres final verse ("don't send me no more letters, no").

Also:

The Ballad of Frankie Lee and Judas Priest

'Shelter from the Storm'.

"'Twas in another lifetime,
one of toil and blood,
when blackness was a virtue,
and the road was full of mud,
I came in from the wilderness,
a creature void of form,
come in she said I'll give you,
shelter from the storm."
