I've decided to start an Eagles Trivia Thread for us to kill some time with.

Here are the rules :-

:: One person will ask ONE question, when that question is answered correctly, that person (who answered correctly) may ask the next question, then when that persons question is answered correctly, the person who answered it will ask another question, and so on. (If you answer the question, and are 150% sure that your answer is correct, then you can ask the next question straight away, if you're not sure your answer is correct, wait for the person who asked the question to provide the correct answer.)

:: If someone answers a question correctly, and the original person who posted the question says so, then that person has the right to ask a new question. 60 minutes after the original person verifies the correct answer, and another question hasn't been asked by the person who answered correctly, anybody can come in and ask a new question.

:: You are not allowed to use books, Internet, Google, phone-a-friend, 50-50, or Eddie McGuire to help you in answering the question. Let's try keep it honest, and just use your own knowledge.

:: Questions must be related to West Coast Eagles somehow.

Ok, I will get the ball rolling...

Which ground did the Eagles play their first Grand final at?

Yep, your question kuepper.

Didn't I mention in the rules no Freo fans allowed? :D

Ok, My question is, and it is a 2 parter:

Against Essendon, at Windy Hill in 1989:

(a) What was the Eagles total score and
(b) What was the final winning margin?

Do your worst.

Oh c'mon.

You honestly expect people to get that without the aid of books or internet sites?

I should have mentioned that rule goes for creating the questions too :\

ahahaha, u didnt.

guess away - if it is off the top of your head, ill take the margin part away, if you like.

Just the eagles score - hows that?

Well, I already looked it up on the net. So we will wait for someone else to have a crack.

I'll avoid that question, just so that the answer doesn't have to come from me ;)

I'm regularly reminded of this by an Essendon mad friend. I know it was our lowest score ever against them - but for the life of me I can't think of the exact score. Isn't that just the way!?! I know we didn't even reach 20 points. I think it was 16 or 18?

Yep, one of those is right - there's a hint.

But I am looking for x.xx xx scoreline.

I am glad I didnt waste my question for you fanboys (and girls)

Ok well, now I know it's one of 2 options as I know the number of goals we scored. So, I'll go for:

1.10 16

From memory, it was 1.12 with Chris Lewis kicking the only goal. I think we lost by 160 points, but could be wrong.

Bugger, missed by one damn minute - and that was only cause the system makes you wait 60 seconds before you can post again.;)

Name the two West Coast Eagles players who failed to play in the 1992 or 1994 Eagles Premiership-winning sides, but moved on to win the ultimate prize in footy with other clubs in 1995 and 1996, and the Eagle who equally missed out with the Big Birds but played for the losing GF team in 1997.

Shane Bond for Carlton?

Jason Heatley?

Can't remember the North player?
