I just twigged that it was the losing side in 97 GF, not the winiing side. I didn't read a bit of the question and assumed the rest. I did actually change it before the next post was up though.

Ok, I've checked it up on the net, and your answer is correct. Can't be bothered waiting for VOR :D

Your question bunsen.

heres a wedgey while bunsen gets one together.

in the 1998 game against the bullies at the waca, the eagles were down by 8 goals after the 1st quarter.

Who from the eagles kicked the first of 8 in a row in the second quarter ?

having read the rest of this thread - did you cheat and edit your question?

anyway, whoever's turn it is, get on with it
No! I realised my mistake and edited it, and when I had finished, AU had posted.

Same thing just happened again - I went to post and when I was returned to the board, AU's post was there too. He/she is following me!

Excellent, me again.

I've got a meeting in five, so I'll just pose this and trust you blokes to work out what the correct answer is.

Which player was the first Eagle to become a life member of the club by playing 150 games?
I would say Chris Lewis, but hold the phone, the answer to the last question was definately Cousins - I just watched it and he scored the Eagle's first goal in the second quarter.

I'll say Bluey McKenna

Seems the logical answer

But it may not be my question - ruling?
The ruling is that the answer to the last question is Cousins - unless Au comes back with evidence to say otherwise.

Quite happy to go with this question though because it is a good one. Since there are no other takers, I might have a second helping.

Mainy?

Mainy?

I am now going to hospital where my daughter has just dislocated her knee playing squash.

You'll just have to work it out for yourselves!

Ok, let's narrow the field. To be the first player to play 150, this particular player must have been a part of the original squad (1987), or have joined the next year (1988). To play 150 games, it would take nearly 7 seasons (up until 92/93). To be there before McKenna, this person must have been a regular player.

Brennan?
Worsfold?
Lockyer?
Turley!

Yep, I'll go for Turley.

It's Dwayne Lamb.

I'm quite positive this is the correct answer, and seeing as VOR has gone out for a while, I'll ask the next question.

Assuming that they play every game next season, which of the Eagles players will be the first to reach 150 AFL games?
