Don't think we'd take the 3 kpp in Watts, Trengove and McKernan.

Knowing at pick 17 that one of Trengove and McKernan were left at 19 I reckon we'd take Swift and take whoever slipped to 19.

Ziebell,Hannbury,Sharples and Davis.

I would be over the Moon With That Draft:thumbsu:

Essendon will NOT take three talls in the draft. Why would we take Aaron Cornelious if we already have Neagle, Gumbleton, Daniher (third tall) and a resting ruckman?

That draft is awful for Richmond we picked up Blease when Ziebell and Hartlett were still availiable and we don't need another quick midfield we have enough. We also don't need Lisle he is more of a backman then a forward and Richmond needs a forward instead of a backman. Also I don't think that Richmond would pick up Richardson at all.

Probably the worst phanton draft i've seen.. Pretty obvious you dont know what each clubs needs are

The last thing North need are key forwards.

Yes.

Please.

But I know this wont happen, are you new to the draft?
Richmond wont go Blease.. Carlton wont go another midfielder.

I would think Tigers would go for Zibell before Blease

He might be new to BigFooty.

"New to the draft". Bloody hell, I didn't realise it was now set in stone and no further changes allowed.

really????
And Who are these so called Key Forwards????????
Aaron Edwards- Small
Lindsey Thomas- Small
Matt Campbell-Small
Lachlan Hansen- 4 Games
Drew Petrie- Not a genuine Forward
Corey Jones- A HFF at best
Robbie Tarrent- Yet to debut

Yeh you have heaps of key forwards dont you!!!!!
I think Nth needed a leading HF and lewis Johnston could be that.
Tom Lynch is a bonus as well as Luke Stanton who can very easily be a good wing/HFF type player and Jamie Sheahan is a good Midfielder. what more could you ask for, Oh thats right Rich, Nataunui and Watts will all still be available for Nth to take.
So as to your comment YOU obviously dont know what your own club needs to be successful.

McKernan is a Ruckman.
Melbourne has 0 Good KPPs ATM on their list so wouldn't you load up on these talented players while you can!

Josh Smith, David Hale, Wundke

When did i say i wanted Rich, Naitanui or Watts?? We need midfielders and if one of Hartlett/Ziebell/Sidebottom fell to our pick we'd snap them up pretty quickly. Our other big problem is a key defender, which we have lacked for many years now. You havnt got us drafting 1. I think i know what my team needs champ, and many others on the North Melb board share the same opinion or are we all wrong and you know more then the lot of us? Just check out the first page on this thread and there are already 2 North supporters that dont think we need a forward

Josh Smith, David Hale, Wundke
Josh Smith is a forward but turns 23 before the start of the season and has only played 2 games since being drafted! Thats talent.IMO will be delisted at end of next season.

David Hale is a Ruckman not a Key Forward just spent time there as you had nobody else. Here is what it said on the Roos website.
Spent more time on the forward line in 2007 after Hamish McIntosh took over the No. 1 ruck position.
So he is not the best Ruckman in you team and you had no Key forwards so he filled that hole.

Wundke is yet to Debut and out of all the Kpp's you have looks the most likely but you need more then 1 Key Forward.

Hale IMO is now a full-time KP forward who has stints in the ruck. A way better version of Kosi if you will. I tend to agree with the Kangas supporters about the need for a KP back or midfielder but there is every chance that they will take a KP forward. IIRC Emma Quayle had the Roos taking Johnston as well, and she got 7 or 8 out of the Top 10 in the draft right last year so she's no BF mug...

McKernan is a Ruckman.

 I think you've just summed up your knowledge of the draft right there.

Mckernan might play ruck in the juniors, but when was the last time there was a (good) 196cm ruckman in the AFL?
He will end up a KPP who has the ability to take short stints in the ruck.

Melbourne also has very few decent midfielder atm, why would we pass on one if they came up? So your team could pick them?

Unless an extremely rated youngster comes through, we are very very likely to pick up a mid at 17, as the best mid won't be there at 19 if we pass on them at 17.
However you guys are likely to pass on KPP at 18 due to having quite a few good young ones, so passing on a KPP at 17 and taking them at 19 makes sense.

**Was also wondering who James Krause is?**

I hereby submit that this phantom should be put forward to the AFL to take the place of the draft scheduled for November 29th. :thumbsu:

Is he one of the best ruckman going around or what!! Kicked 37 or something goals playing in the ruck, why the hell wasn't he AA?!?!

Quit while your... well, not ahead, but at least not further down in the ditch you've dug, and just called it a day, heh?
