How the umpire missed the Franklin throw in front of our goal before the ball was swept to the other end in those final minutes still has me bemused.

I still can't work out how they missed one last year when we played them. In the Hawkins goal win right before 3 qt time burgoyne or gibson did the most blatent throw i have seen, would have put us about 4-5 goals up at 3/4 time and the tomahawk moment may never have happened!

I was level 2 great southern stand, and there was a sea of brown and gold unfortunately. There was a cheer squad that would be sparked by 2 blokes right on the railing every time the Hawks scored, plus the bloke behind me commented "give it away Pods, you're too old Pods".

Then I foresaw Podsiadly's specky and just shouted "PODSIADLY!!" and he clunked it.
