ECW coming to FOX8 in September!

Foxtel have confirmed that ECW will air in Australia. Fox8 have picked up the rights to screen ECW TV and will begin airing the weekly show on Saturday afternoons at 2pm (EST) starting Saturday 2nd September 2006.

I'm thinking of getting Austar put on for Soccer and Wrestling but I'm more interested in TNA than WWE (don't flame me) at the moment.

No, but the TNA PPVs are shown on MainEvent, on a 2 week (or so) delay.

I used to enjoy watching TNA when I last had Austar. I figured since WWE came back to Fox 8 TNA would have had to go because we all know what Vince McMahon's like. Damn.

foxtel are showing the tna pay-per views to get a gauge on how popular it is in australia. if they determine that it is a good thing then they will put the shows on foxtel. so can every one order them so we can get it on every week.

It's getting better but until every match is ECW Rules, until a variety of weapons are allowed to be used and they get a 2 hour timeslot it'll never be as good as it could be.

Until they loosen the reins a bit and everyone doesn't have to wrestle in "WWE Style" too.

Last weeks was good because it was in it's own arena. ECW was good because an ECW actually crowd went to it (they should do it more often)

They should stop having Big Show and some Raw or SmackDown guy Main Eventing as well.

The problem is the old ECW stalwarts need to start again since WWE's main audience is 14 years olds up to 30 year rednecks. The WWE needs to re-establish these people who were too young or didn't pay any respect to ECW.
