Not sure of the stats but the untold advantage of Betts is he is a very good goal assist player. Could have the biggest seagull in the world sitting in a pocket and he would boot 40 goals a year thanks to Betts setting things up.

betts and robinson according to my source. Yaz/gartlett were also on the block earlier in the year (essentially mick was getting rid of at least one of the 3 mosquito fleet)

What I love about Betts is his closing speed on defenders I50 and his tackles.

He literally terrorizes defenders. We need that as opposed to Pets that chases them, gets close, but no cigar.

Betts is about a 65% shot on goal. 290 goals 160 behinds. (doesnt include out of bounds kicks) plus his goal assists.

Things are looking up.

Throw in Polec and fingers crossed for a Bellchambers and Im excited.

Might even crack 10,000 posts next year lol.

Put it this way. Between 2009-2013, Betts' worst year in terms of goal assists is better than any of our players' best year during that time.

Geez he is not greedy. He comes in at number 8 and has played the least number of games in about the top 15.

Given that Jack is leading with only 27 but has played 6 more games, Betts probably would have eclipsed him.

GA - is a crucial stat along with his goals kicked. Didnt realise Douglas was up there as well.

It's not a trade

And it's no secret that both Adelaide and Norf have made Betts an offer, it's been reported by every media outlet in SA and Vic

If we get betts for $500g a year i wont mind as in how much did we pay tambling a year? i beleive tambling was getting $300g a year or more... so cut tambling and use stiffys old wage it doesnt seem so bad.

How about when Betts slipped over attempting to kick on that shifty ANZ turf last night? It was in the dying stages, and the camera panned away as he went down. He's ok mind you, but looked very dicey on the replay.

I hate those moments when you see an AFC player go down...
