So punish 20+ 10-14 year olds because someone’s old man can’t keep their mouth shut… seems a bit unfair
Yeah it’s harsh but ultimately it’s the clubs that oversee coaching appointments and should be aware of who the officials are also. I just think if punishment is severe clubs and coaches etc will need to be responsible or they will wear the wrath of the good parents.
Seems it's ok for junior clubs to reference a JDO, Director of coaching and even "wellbeing co-ordinators" yet when these issues or area's of concern arise, who fulfills the duty under each role description?
Big grey area in local junior sport, and sometimes it takes just one brave person (or body) to envoke change, and then another 1-2 others to say "yep I'm with ya" ....
