Apparently he had a fall out with the coach, I heard the younger Smith had a great game... Dont know about D.Smith heard he did not play a practice game but played in the 2's last week so maybe he is a chance this week
Billy, I'm just giving an opinon and think Glenroy will have a chance this week, I did not say they will win
I saw Doutta loose to Pacoe and they were terrible that day
Also just looking at Marby, I wonder how long Luke Butters and John Angel will be happy playing 2's

Well Luke Butters played his first game for the club last week after suffering a serious knee injury during the pre season and got best on so he should go straight back in to the senior side and johnnie angel kicked six and missed a few so he should be straight in also.
Not sure whether he'll play for GV but pretty certain he will not be playing for Douttas this year... You may need to speak with him if you think otherwise.
I know him very well and have spoken to him probably 3 times a week every week so i know ...
been told al faraj wont be playing this yr due to work and has a back problem. will slot nicely into greenvales fwd line if he plays. he has trained with them but just to be involved and has alot of close mates down at greenvale. i personally dont think hel play at all. i know him well and will be handy whereever he goes kicked 9 or 10 a few weeks ago and a bag of 6 aswell, douttas sure could of used him on the weekend.

Fair enough then, you could have just said that in the first place instead of getting angry, not that it means anything the guy is still gone, really doesn't make a difference how or why. People tend to just assume that when a guy leaves 1 club to go to another in this day and age it's because of money, especially when the club he went to emabarked on a heavy recruiting campaign pre- season and even more so when the player in question strangely relinquishes the chance to play A- Grade to play B- Grade in a lesser league, but, good for him that it wasn't, so you can relax now mate.
i wasnt getting angry , im just getting pissed off with people talking shit on here about glenroy and the players ect. Brad kite will be back at glenroy because im sure he cant like coburg districs there game is too slow.

Just to confirm, I have absolutely nothing against the Glenroy Football Club, I am strongly considering heading down there next year to play myself. That's the whole reason I go and watch them, to see what the team and blokes are like. I grew up in the suburb (and am now a stone's throw away from there), and my dad, aswell as everyone he and our family associates with still to this day (including committee member Glenn Glements who I know very well), played their whole careers down there. Fair to say it's been a goal of mine, since I started playing at age 10 to follow in their foot steps and play for the Roys.
The club and guys down there are fine , but if ash manning is there again if i were you i would look eles where. Hes pathetic.
I know the coach , and i know ALOT of people at glenroy dont realy like him.

massive game this week with the jets up against keilor. gee how times have changed with keilor now going in as favourites. i certainly never would have thought that the last 2 years!!! key match-ups I'd love to see:
jorgenson v limbach (jorgenson to win hands down and win bog honours)
aloi v marcy
randello v hartigan (i think both will have a significant impact on the game)
gazzo v prowse - would be a great match-up. both very dangerous players
rohan v garth - good match up but garth to come out ahead slightly due to the delivery he will be receiving
bloomfield v johnson (bloomfield hands down)
bicer v armstrong

Legend 09... has manning upset you in some way. What is pathetic about manning. I play at Glenroy and i cant find anything pathetic about him. What has he done to deserve this. Took a club that not played finals in 10 years to a flag in two years. Tell us all what manning has done that is so bad. It is easy to blame the coach. It is not his fault for the situation the club is in.

Agreed to an extent..the club shouldve backed themselves for going all the way last year and signed up all the players to an extra year deal to hold them all together just incase they did win the flag and they wouldnt be in the situation they are in now!!

A good player in section 2 is a two's player in A grade, = no cash.

Douttas won by 45 points,the score was 1.5.11 each at half time,yes it was a shootout very very windy and sh1t conditions but yeah would have been the same verywhere i guess,but in the second half Douttas were very good and the score ended up 12 goals to 3 i think.Big ruckmen for DS was really good and W.C ruckmen didnt play which would have helped and Douttas kids were great just kept runinng and chasing all day and were hard at it,old boy Docs was very good and Garth at fullback did his usual job on Hakim but not letting him get a kick so a great win.
Heard that Avaondale were up by 4 goals against the mores late but got done by around 2 goals.
