There isn’t many although you might find some key forwards end up as key defenders long term like a Cody Curtin. Dean will be the first taken but after that it’s slim pickings. Xavier Taylor is more a 3rd tall type, Blake Thredgold has had some injury concerns but looks good.wHO are the better key defenders for this draft?
I know im a Calder fan boi but can see Jackson Barbour getting an opportunity, even if its as a rookieThere isn’t many although you might find some key forwards end up as key defenders long term like a Cody Curtin. Gus isnt a key defender and I question his decision makingI prefer Gus Papal if your taking a Calder key defender
I would match any bid for Kyle in the 2nd round, he has a lot of AFL calibre traits.
Your club are smart operators they will be able to navigate all that. I like Farrow but what you have in academy prospects would be his role anyway. That's a big wrap for a guy who wasn't even a legitimate draft prospect 12 months ago. Not sure how we'll deal with the deficit but we must take that live pick before the bids. I like the Schubert pick but would have been tempted by Farrow

Yeah I get the sentiment you have aswell, Farrow I would take ahead of those other half backs but I don’t think Carmichael is too far behind him although a different type of half back. Thanks for the responses and your picks in the phantom.
I think at times the academies can cloud squad building. Some years your draft haul (positionally) is dictated to you by bids. It's very hard to not match a bid, culture and growth wise we need to show full support.
In any other year I'd be falling over myself to get Farrow but understand the logic in looking elsewhere this time even if Farrow is a much higher talent IMO.
Do you think more bids will come this year - Chamberlain and McNamara? It's a lot of list spots we might need to free up
I think he is underrated, I have him in my top 30 he has plenty of good attributes with his height, marking and versatility. His kicking can be inconsistent though so still plenty to work on.Thoughts on Charlie Banfield & where you see him being taken?
BOG for Claremont in todays Colts GF & been great the last 4 weeks.
no greeves?My updated top 20
