Hope it doesnt escalate into something more than a verbal. The media will go beserk with this if it does. Do you think Leyton should "pull out" being the Number 1 ticket holder. Have any of you ever played in a club where 2 of your "stars" were at each others throats as appears to be the case according to Bone this morning on 5aa. He said that he has known about the problem for a few weeks.

In relation to Edwards, McLeod and Hewitt, also their partners, the words 'grow up' come to mind. I am a great admirer of all 3 of them as sporting identities, but to allow these trivial matters to destroy friendships and to affect performances (potentially), speaks volumes about their maturity. Maybe it highlights the coccoon that is placed around these guys and how sheltered they are from reality.

All in all a pathetic situation that could be resolved by a simple mediation from an admired acquaintance. It really irks me to see this becoming such a big deal and has the potential to get out of proportion ie: Imagine what will happen if Edwards has a shot at goal when McLeod was running forward to receive? What if McLeod is caught holding the ball, when he could have passed off to Edwards. Both of these situations could occur normally, but nothing would be read into them, other than the player made a mistake. Now it will make headlines anytime it happens, regardless of the truth. Get over it boys...

I am an outsider here.

But didn't McLeod take Hewitt to court.Didn't that court case actually make McLeod sit down for mediation, as he refused to discuss it.

This seem sodd, it appears hat McLeod is the one with the problem.

The outcome of the courtcase was that McLeod was wrong.

Maybe he is thinking with his little person.

It would be a shame if he was unable to play as part of a team with Edwards.
Also why should Hewitt not be No 1 ticket holder, he has done nothing worng.Legally or morally.

Andrew McLeod’s wife Rachael Mcleod has every right to be annoyed and dislike Lleyton Hewitt. This is not the place to get into the personal details of the split between Lleyton Hewitt and Kim Clijsters but I wonder if Rachael Mcleod knows more as to why they split and why Lleyton was engaged to Bec Cartwright so quickly after the split. If she was seen as being a B I T C H from Team Hewitt then that could be a reason why.

90 - 95 % of the people who post on big footy or ATCF would never have met her (including me) but she is standing up for her good friend Kim Clijsters and would be a large reason as to why she dislikes Lleyton.

Rachael Mcleod supposably is a good friend with Kim Clijsters and she has every right to stand up for her friend if she has seen someone hurt her and Andrew is doing the right thing by standing behind him wife and showing her support.

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen could not stand and it was common knowledge that they hated Dennis Rodman but developed a mutual respect for each other to allow the team to win, plenty of teams have had starts on that team hate each other and still succussed.

Whatever bulldust is written or said abt Rachel, fact is SHE IS ANDREW MCLEOD'S WIFE AND THE SOONER ALL AT COWLAND REALISE THAT THE BETTER COZ THIS MAY DETERIORATE TO THE EXTEND OF IMPACTING SIGNIFICANTLY ON THEIR SEASON '06. Remember what Andy was like under Gary a few years back and what little contribution he made to the club??? This will be interesting to see how it evolves. Seems funny thought that Andy is isolated in this case as all media 'gurus' (KG; Graham: Bones, u name them, appear to be on Leytton's side and blaming Andy for it all. What amazing drama really. I'm with Andy for sticking by his wife on this issue regardless

The same person also told me that this infact was not true. It would seem weird that this is not true I did question that but the response was there not friends. It is all petty bull******** and needs to be sorted out by the sounds of it.

theres not much to avoid really its all done now, its just a advertiser special, the club got alot of them in 2004 and early 2005.

It's sad that it had to come down to McLeod & Edwards not talking/taking sides.. I guess all we can hope for is that it doesn't affect their football.

It was nice that Hewitt and McLeod were friends, but was good that McLeod went back to his wife - because they had children involved, was nice to see that (eventually) his family came first.

It would be somewhat interesting to know what really happened, but I don't think that we will know..
