My thought for the day is that if we win today we go to 70 finals wins, which would be more than any other club.

Currently:

Collingwood 69
Essendon 69
Carlton 63

The other reason why i am desperate to win is to give our young players a taste of a finals victory. That's priceless when we mount a more serious challenge next year when circumstances can't be much worse than this year.

Bloody umpires are trying to keep them in it. Why wouldn't you pay advantage to Davis for that Shaw goal?

Then an all-too familiar free kick on the siren to Edwards... granted it was an excellent kick from that angle, credit where it's due.

Good start, impressed with McCarthy and O'Brien aside from the usual suspects.

The high tackle against Harry was terrible.


In saying that, we dont need the umpires... our greatest wins come from situation like this, as long as the players stay focased and dont let these 75/25 decisions get to them.

It's amazing how a game can change like this. First quarter we looked like certain winners, Adelaide were giving nothing. Now, we could still win, but i'm not so sure. But, wow, mccarthey is tough as nails. love him.
