I think thats a fair enough assessment. I would think they would have had higher expectations than struggling into the top 4 and then losing the Prelim pretty comprehensively. No pressure on Buckley...........yet....but he has a challenge in front of him.

You did see their injury list this year?

Only WC had as many long term injuries as them this season.

Dude.. do you really need me to be the 100th pie supporter to post our injury list for the season?

Anyways, the jury on bucks is still out. Its laughable how quickly everybody wants to call it a fail. If Voss is still there and Hird is escaping criticism, Buckley deserves one more year, especially since in one year he's accomplished more as a coach then both combined.

As for Malthouse .. no guarantee he could have done a better job this year. Lets see how he goes at the Blues hey?

Even without the coaching change, Collingwood lost Leon Davis and Leigh Brown... as well as injuries.

Sydney and Hawthorn are better than Collingwood this year. End of IMO.

I think all the talk/hype of dynasties was more the undoing, Leigh Matthews once said "Dynasties are a retrospective view. You don't look forward to a dynasty, you look back and say 'yeah, that's now been a dynasty"

Except for 4 knee recos, an AA defender retiring, and a litany of other injuries and made the prelim. Shame a lot of other clubs didn't have such shit coaches hey
