I'm gone but can't complain. Team still performed well:)

Me = 2174 with Gysberts to go

Him = 2246 with Swan to go

At least I can now concentrate on the rest of the year & getting to my PB overall of top 1500.

I need 184 from Swan and Shaw. Can count on p#ssweak Shaw for 60, so I need Swan to have a good one against us. It will be touch and go.

I'm really struggling to work out what's gone wrong this week. My opponent has had 3 scores under 50, me nil. My 3rd worst scoring player kicked 5 goals (Eddie Betts). The only player I can blame is Montagna, who's been sensational for me, except this week.

Oh well, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

I'm out. Fisher, Monty, and J.Brown all hurt me. While his 'meh' players scored decently and no one underperformed for him. It has come down to me needing Swan and Didak to outscore Pendles by 203 points, that's not going to happen.

I'm doing my best to lose against a player with 2 zeros.

Montagna as captain (he had Bartel) certainly hasn't helped!!

I'm still favourite with Swan + 31 vs Shaw but I'm certainly doing my best to lose.

Was a great help to me that he had Maguire on field with Webberley as Emerg and then Hunt as non playing bench! He also had Ball on field with neither mid bench playing but didn't trade at all ... can only assume he couldn't access computer for some reason ... not that I am complaining!

Him 235 points
Me Shaw and Swan
I could still win, but given Shaw’s recent form, I think not.

Joshy Hunt, a sub 100 capt GAJ week (thought he played better than those points), and a down game from Rohan covering for Brown (should have chosen Gysberts or Gumbleton), have cost me. Ah well, my overall ranking is still good.

I won.
I can't believe it. I had 2 zeros and another 2 late withdrawals. Before the Round even started I thought I was a goner... setting 2 forward emergencies saved me.

I'm riding on pure luck now... whoever gets me next week will most likely have a win coz my team is in serious trouble.

It was so frustrating watching Swan rack it up while knowing Heath Shaw's one touch at half time would eliminate me.

In the end 150 for Swan and 49 from Shaw sees me lose by 36 points.

somehow got through against a better team and with 4 of my players scoring 50 or less!! He was very unlucky having Brown and Didak as late outs with no backup

Got through comfortably in the end. My score wasn't great (2123) but he had 3 zeros and only scored 1991.

Not looking forward to the opponent I'm likely to draw next week (as I'll be in the bottom half of the draw).

Swan and 9 points VS Pendlebury and Shaw.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. :(

Would've won if I had a full team in but I was always facing a huge battle with two 0s thanks to Hille and Webberley.

Ended up losing by 26 points.

Swanny did his best to try and win it for me but it wasn't enough, even with Shaw also trying to win it for me by spudding it up.

He had a bit of luck go his way with huge scores from Pendlebury, Malceski and Hall but it all evens out in the end so that is no excuse.

Would have given him a bath had I been at full strength so that is unfortunate for me. No Hille and no Webberley had me playing catch-up from the very beginning and I am surprised I got this close in the end.

There's always next year...

I won!

2175 v 2149

Before the final game I need 62 to win from Swan but then only found out after the game had begun that didak wasn't playing and he got his emergency (62 - Gumbleton). Therefore, I needed Swan to get 124 to actually win.

Thank you Dane Swan! You are a star.

It will be very hard to make it to past the next round from here. I will be in the bottom half but won't be playing 2 zero's like this week.

A win even though Didak pulled out as I had Tippett as bakcup

Swann and Tippett reeled in the 214 points I needed. Stoked.

What's the big deal with the post round one teams? Is it that it s supposed to be the first 130K teams regsitered, and you would think there are easily that many by round one? Some people do forget to finish their team before round one starts and do so before round four to get in a league or are there people who do it deliberately?

Think it might of been 260 odd this year.

Looking forward to the next round.
