Brad Hill is just about the least of our worries. At least he can get on the park occasionally and get a kick.
Yes - I put him in the same boat as Blakely . These 2 are or should bonafide AFL stars who should be in AA contention last 2 years . If a Kirk like presence was here they are in that team

Would love to have someone outline what the cultural issues are, as well as an explanation of expectations and how we work towards redemption or if in fact we simply have a one strike your out rule. I would also like to see someone explain what the current situation is and how it is currently handled (in detail) and how they would do it differently.

Then outline how we use language to convey culture and how we would change that from its current state. Then look at the other cultural drivers inherent to large groups or organisations and address them as well as how in tandem with contractual and HR obligations you would change the culture from what it is to a healthier one...

I will eagerly await a work of substance.
The simplest, and probably most accurate answer is: win games of footy and cultural issues disappear. It really is that simple. We have a great analog just down the road if you require proof.

I have zero concerns about trading in players like Hogan. It’s not like he was drunk driving and crashed his car. He stuffed up. Individuals are allowed a slip up. Repeat offenders get turfed (aka Sylvia). Freo have handled the situation well, could have swept it under the carpet but didn’t. I hate honest and transparent organisations!!!

I wouldn't be giving up on Hogan yet. He's adjusting. Belly is astute and would have known all of the rumors. It's a calculated risk for a bloke who can cover 15kms in a game like Hogan has before, take pack marks and turn a game. A mentor like Cam Mooney maybe could help. Ultimately Fremantle needs a a highly respected former player who's either won flags like Goodwin, Simpson etc or been a superstar like Buckley as coach to inspire the playing group and get blokes who are a bit loose engaged because you've got a good core. Ross the boss is more like Larry Brown at the Pistons who got the results early but ultimately wears players down with the rigid defensive mindset. Paul Roos knew that his coaching style did that and kept his tenures short. Belly won't muck around if this go's further south in the next few months.

Thankyou for not laying the boots in

How has the club allowed these two imbociles be on the list with Hogan if they knew about his “amxieties” 😕
Yes. Its good its coming out in the open. I feel its festering ever since matty pav left the club.
Im glad belly is on the inside now. But i have lost all faith in ross as of 1 week ago. He is not.the leader i thought he was.

TBC is our standard out duration . Why should this be any different?
It doesn’t need to be different I wasn’t suggesting it should be. But clearly if he is suffering anxiety this isn’t going to be fixed over one weekend. He could be out for a bigger time frame hence why I said there is no clear picture of when he will be back

Shock. Horror. A star AFL player partakes in recreational drug use??? What’s next? The Easter Bunny isn’t real? I’m 100% sure that Hogan must be the only player to do such things, and that Freo AND Ross Lyon particularly, are the only club/coach that would “allow” this to happen at their club.

Just because someone appears to have a better life than yourself, doesn’t mean they’re living the dream. Read Dusty’s article for some insight. Even the elite of the AFL feel the pressure to perform - can only imagine the burden bestowed upon Hogan by naive supporters expecting he’ll take us to finals this year. One persons dream, is another persons nightmare.

Anxiety ? I hope you are being sarcastic.

Never been more disillusioned with this club than i have the past few weeks.. if there wasnt a kid called Andrew Brayshaw running around on Sunday i don't think I'd be that interested.

Its gone beyond “recreational” and we have got a rat pack further more we all should be angry about people are asleep at the wheel in managing this .

All I hope is that the young players we’ve drafted recently see enough to want to stay here any not request a trade first opportunity they get.

If you believe he is playing better footy for us whilst he is in the prime of his footballing powers as opposed what he gave Hawthorn you keep believing that.
Btw his best and fairest , all it meant he was best of a bad bunch . He epitomises the downhill skiier.
And your white ant comment irks me , the real white ants are on the payroll atvthe club we pay our memberships too

Easy to play at your best when playing in a winning side like the Hawks were, ala the Des Hedland.

If none of you guys are p1ssed off that the Eagles are reigning premiers coupled with they are laughing because our culture is worse than theirs now when they were at their lowest ebb , you guys clearly have no pride

Des Headland even though he was underwhelming played in better Freo teams. Your argument is null and void till BHill plays finals footy with us
