They are 1win - 8losses versus teams in the eight and 9 - 3 for those out of the eight. To the doubters, they have beaten the sides they should beat. 11-11 if that happens is mediocre and only gets you in the finals about once every ten years. But coming back from a 2-6 season start to make finals cannot be ignored. The media coverage is nauseating but winning form is good form. 15-16 players with less than 100 games should get finals experience as a group. Can't buy that.

not many of us expected to be anywear near finals this year. Making it to the finals is just a Cherry on top, if it happens.

making the finals and snagging a finals win it would be elating but it definitely does not determine success for us.

KPP/3rd tall group of Wright, Jones, Francis, Stewart, Laverde and Ridley is on paper one of the weakest group of talls in the league.

The interesting thing will be that if we and GWS win next week, then we'll have won 10 of 13 games against the bottom 10 teams. I don't recall a season where we've been that consistent against weaker sides.

The issue is that we'll have only won one of the 9 games against teams higher on the ladder than us. Hopefully we get to the finals and improve that performance!

There will be an argument that we're exactly where we should be on the ladder; consistently beating the teams below us and losing to the ones above us.
