i like that except id give murphy a go in the midfield, mcphee to def and rio forward.

finally essendon with a rotating midfield no more team JJ and Hird in getting the ball out

Who are we going to play at CHF?

Lloyd could become one of the great CHFs of the modern era. He has all the tools. And playing him at CHF doesn't remove him of all his goal-kicking potency. Carey kicked 3 goals a game and set up at least as many.

We fall down far too often across half-forward because Lloyd is our only genuine target. We need another key forward. Johns looks the most likely, but he looks like a better full forward than CHF.

And providing great leadership is very difficult from the full forward line, so if he is our next captain, he would be alot more damaging at Centre Half Forward. He doesnt need to kick goals to become a fantastic player and leader, but his onfield presence alone can stand for many many more goals. I think bringing Lloydy to a drifting CHF player would be an excellent move for the Bomber future.
