Unfortunately every team has an idiot supporter:rolleyes:

Maybe an Essendon supporter will list there missing players.
I'll start by naming a few
Rioli,Wellman & Blumfield

kbf - no excuses. North were disgraceful! I would rather have an 125 point flogging at the hands of Essendon than to go down like that. Fancy a team putting in a one quarter effort and hardly damaging the scoreboard after that.PATHETIC
I hope they don't make the finals. I'd rather the team doesn't suffer at the hands of Essendon again: The team that they are so afraid of:mad:

woooo.. hold the phone mate... your sitting 11th on percentage. equal 9th. 1 win out of the 8. dont give up that easy mate!!

cool down before you use such words as "pathetic"...

north are far from pathetic, a 12 goal QTR against any side is a decent effort, against any side.. being against essendon is brilliant. be disappointed for the loss, but be proud!

Even though the Kangaroos gave up a 69 point lead to lose by 12 (i.e an 81 point turnaround), they still kicked 13 goals after quarter-time (average of 4.33 per quarter for the last 3 quarters)

If you were to kick goals at that rate for a whole game, you'd score 17 goals over 4 quarters, which is pretty good. North only really lapsed for one quarter, and that was the second term. You'd think that the supporter who started this thread would show some appreciation for the "game" and the "spectacle" which was arguably, the greatest game ever played.

The greatest game ever from an essendon supporters perspective: Another win, cementing top spot, another record against the kangaroos:(

But it was a poor effort. Nothing was done when the dons threatened to break the game open. Now thats two times: Against the blues and now against the bombers.

Its OK PiesPremiers, I'll cool off in a sec;) :)

Settle mate, give it a couple of days and you will see some of the positives from the game.

It is too much, can't bottle my euphoria anymore, I am off to the pub to celebrate with my mates in full Bomber regalia.:D

the whole day has been very emotional. north definately did continue to apply scoreboard pressure after quarter time, so let's not be too harsh on north. ok, so we won, but whether it was a loss or a draw or whatever, it still would have been one of the greatest games of all time.

so north needed the win. true. yet even if you make the finals, you won't progress far. preliminary finals if you're very very very very very lucky. so what diff does it make whether you finish 6th or 11th. really ?

and as i recall, carey was playing last year when we thrashed you. and he kicked 10 goals against us a couple years back and you still couldn't win.

lose your next two games (lions and swans) - then i'd start to worry.

if they lose the next 2, no need to worry... they need to start preparing for next year!!

i think they'll sneak in...
