So Stubbs, Lennon or Mackay then?
I actually want us to get Thomas Tuchel from Maniz in Germany, he took over the club just after the club was promoted, many tipped them to go back down but he got them to finish 13th, in his second season they finished 5th and this season they look set to finish 10th after a rough season with injuries.

He's very highly rated in Germany, was reported that Schalke were after him late last year. Is an absolute tactical mastermind, everything he does he does he has a reason for not one of those managers that just does something and then said he's manager so he can do what he wants.

He has Maniz playing a very similar high style like we play so he would be able to come in and work well with our current players. He has also done a fantastic job at bringing youngsters into the first team. Been a team with a good youth academy it would be great if we could bring someone in who could help develop and bring in young players like Barkley, Green, Duffy, Lundstram and co into the first team.

Tuchel would be absolutely brilliant, but I haven't even considered the possibility of Bill going after him.
I'm the same, i wouldn't even be surprised if Bill hasn't even heard of him which sucks. I just hope more Evertonian's start to want him so he gets more talked about then some of the UK papers get on it and Bill simply can't not know about him and he seriously considers him.

Good to hear about managers like this, as well as ones like Montanier from Real Sociedad. But in all seriousness, the more I think about Martinez being out next manager the less I want it. Yeah he won the FA Cup, but he also took over the 11tj placed team and relegated a squad that he mostly built.

He fits the whole "media profile" of being young, different from most managers and a good fit to manage a bigger club. I think even to most people they are starting to accept that's who it will be, even though it should be a faster appointment I wouldn't mind it being slower to make sure we get the right man. I'll back whoever we get regardless, but I'd rather we appointed Rafa Benitez than Martinez, and I really don't like the fat Spanish waiter! If Chelsea appoint Mourinho as expected, Di Matteo is my man

So we are just about to watch the last Everton game managed by David Moyes. And as he decides to start Naismith over Barkley yet again, it's really hard to be too upset.

Hope Jelavic can refind his form should've put at least on of his chances away and a sad way to finish Moyes' reign.

Also means Chelsea do the double over us, was hoping we could get at least a point so we could have a season where no teams did that over us.

Jelavic has found his form, he is terrible. Must be gotten rid of as soon as possible. Anichebe isn't much better, and is in many ways worse because of his bullshit attitude.

If not for those two, we'd be in the friggen Champions League next season.

A draw would have been a fitting result really, we dominated the first Chelsea dominated the second. Still, enough chances either way it could have been anywhere from 2-1 to 7-7.

Should have at least got a point...MOYES OUT!

But seriously, he will be missed more than a lot of people think. Thanks for everything and let's hope his work can be continued by the next man

Only managed to watch the 1st half last night but I just knew we would find a way to lose.

I guess now that time of year we will be linked 5,685 players.....end up signing 2 on free transfers.

Thanks for the season guys. It's been grand talking game with a bunch of top fellas (and shielas?)!!

On a side note .. Jelly .. so out of form.

Agreed, it's been great to vent/celebrate with you knowledgable folk! Although something tells me it's only just beginning!

Leon Osman signs a 2 year deal.
At 32 years of age, I think a 1 year deal possibly would have been sufficient. We really need to start promoting some youth next season.

Yep, probably should have been a decision of the new manager as well. At the very least Barkley needs to play every game as first choice sub and by the end of the season be starting 11, and Ossie is the man in his way.
