Good win I guess.
Last time we played Wigan we won 2-1 at home, but last weekend Wigan beat Reading 0-3 so I will go into the game with zero confidence.

Next game is Reading which last time we played we lost 1-2 away.

I'm at a loss regarding the squad rotation though.........

Surely Hitz could have played instead of Neville for example.
Vellios could have had a run at the end instead of Naismith and Oviedo should be getting more game time.

I very much agree with this.
I would have started Hitz and Oviedo.

I would have considered starting Vellios over Jelavic as well.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Persist with him up front with a partner, and not expect so much work out on the left to accommodate Fellaini in a forward position. Jelavic & Anichebe would be ideal, gotta stop with this 4-5-1 business

That aside, happy Mirallas is showing some sharpness again & hopefully holds up, as well as Gibson. If we can keep them fit & Coleman too, we can manage to hang in there.

Best football we've played in a while, went to a Reading supporting mate's place to watch this. Only downside is that Jelavic is still horribly out of form but I'll happily take the three points.

Interestingly enough it's also our first league win since September that didn't finish 2-1.

Excellent win from the lads on the weekend, only just saw the highlights Pienaar's goal was just exquisite and Mirallas is certainly finding some great form which could be pivotal this weekend and the rest of the season.

I still have a bad feeling we will get overrun and drop a place or 2.
But I guess our destiny is in our own hands especially with games against teams around us like Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool still to come.

At half time Neville and Osman should be escorted out of the ground and taken to the retirement home. Fk this team of clowns. But I knew it was coming. Anytime you get positive about something, you know Everton will let you down.
