Just absolutely gutted. Phil Neville should never wear an everton top again.

Without overreacting, I want 3 subs made at half time, and I would like Neville to retire after the game and Moyes to quit. Jelavic had his honemoon period but the Scottish league is his level and he will not recapture his form.
Another year with no trophies and nothing achieved. But apparently we are lucky to have Moyes.

I've hardly said a bad thing about Moyes, but I'm starting to agree his time is up.

Thank ****, finally someone who can score

3-0 down, 20 minutes to go and we bring a defensive midfielder in Gibson on hahahahahaha. Good old Moyes!

To be fair Fellaini has been carrying on like a pork chop

Lol Moyes. Leave Osman on and take off kev

Even this 2nd half.... this has been absolute rubbish. A bit of possesion but not an ounce of quality. Barkley done more in 1 minute than most the side.

Lets just be thankful Wigan are fielding a weakened side or we could be further down.
THAT was their weakened side?

FML!

Wigan are in a relegation battle so they need to concentrate on the league. But I guess no need to panic as they were only playing Everton. A good rest for players like Al Habsi, Caldwell,McCarthy, Di Santo etc.

Thought i'd have a sleep before posting my thoughts as it would give me a chance to calm down.

I woke up even more angry. Absolute pea-hearted effort.

And I thought losing to Norwich away was bad, losing to Wigan at home is disgusting I'm glad I couldn't watch it as I'm sure I would've broken something.

Where was that attacking flare we saw against Reading? Why was Wigan so good with their 'weakened side' after being thrashed by Liverpool 4-0?

The funny thing is Heitinga was solid and Mucha was Ok too.

Jelavic didn't get any service.
Pienaar couldn't nail a pass.
Mirallas lacked touch.
Osman was horrid.
Coleman was destroyed.
Baines was completely shut out of the game.
Fellaini may as well go to Chelsea now because on his effort this morning he doesn't want to be here anyway.
Distin was OK.

Neville... where do i start. It is probably harsh to name him as the culprit at to why we lost, but he is pretty damn well close. Moyes should never have started him in the first place. I can't remember him trying to move the ball forward. Happy to stand there passing sideways and backwards. Then he puts in that brilliant assist that handed Wigan a 2-0 lead and the win. I never want to see him in an everton top again. His performance was shameful and his terrible tackle to earn that yellow was of a man that knows the game has passed him by.

Anichiebe was OK when he came on but struggled from a dysfunctional midfield.
Gibson was solid.
Barkley showed more in his 10 minutes on the pitch than our midfield did for the whole game.

Last but not least.. David Moyes. I have been a solid supporter for David over the years, but last night he lost me a bit. His decision to start Neville was a disgrace. He is a victim of a lack of funds, but we were playing a weakend Wigan at home with an almost full strength side in. It is his duty to make sure the team comes out switched on. I think after 11 years the club needs a freshen up. I think Moyes is a brilliant manager, but sometimes both parties need a fresh start.

What I want to know is what planet is David Moyes on?
He knows deep down he fkd up badly, instead tries to deflect his disgraceful management by talking about Champions League! Get your head out of your arse Moyes! We played the worst side Wigan have fielded this year and lost 3-0 at home. We are miles behind the Champ League teams and they will widen their lead on us by the end of the year. Liverpool and others will be going past us shortly.

Here is another reality check for you David Moyes, we have 2 Premier league win in our last 7 matches so why not deal with the facts we have as much chance of Champions League football as me waking up with Jennifer Hawkins next to me. He can continue to sprout to the world how hard done by he is at Everton and we can bring another manager in, a manager who will not be the highest paid manager in the league with 0 trophies to his name in over 10 years. Time for change and time for change now.

Not a snowflakes' chance. The fork is deep in us for this season. The best we can get out of it is a few games into Barkley, Duffy and co. But there's no ****ing chance of Moyes doing that anyway.

Also, we would have played Blackburn or Milwall in an FA Cup semi final. And Liverpool just went above us.

That just rubs the salt into the wound even more. This was our best ever chance at a trophy and we self destructed. We are in a position that obviously relegation is not a problem so I think getting games into kids is important. Howard, Distin, Neville, Osman etc all in their 30s. Lets give Duffy a chance a CB for an extended run of games. We sent Barkley on loan and he is back now doing nothing on the bench, lets give him 4 or 5 starts. Jelavic has not scored for an eternity, lets give Vellios a chance or atleast some appearances. Even some of the players in the reserves have not had much involvement in the 1st team could get some appearances like McAlaney and Francisco.

Instead I suspect Moyes will stick with his usual trusted faves until the season is over.

There's no need with the **** off Moyes shit, he's done a lot with what he's had in regards to funds etc. his matchday coaching is horrible though, having said that I think he needs to go, we need some new ideas. I think the biggest blue you'll ever meet will try his hardest to keep him though.

Seasons gone sadly, the Wigan game is one of the worst I've seen in my 30 years following the club, just took the wind right out of me. We need a new manager, it's gone stale now, badly.

More details should come out in the next week or 2 as well regarding the Leroy Fer deal, aka we never had any intention at all of signing him or Negredo in January.
