Surely can’t be true, I’ll give up if it is though. Too many things just don’t add up, plus Brands has a history of going “bang for buck” with transfers. Can’t see this deal making any sense if we didn’t want to pay 35m for Tierney in the end who fits a critical need!

We weren’t ever in for Malcom, was a rubbish article on Sky from a journo with an average track record whether they wanted to make some money on SkyBet or his agent was trying to drive up his price tag, the Echo said we weren’t in for him the very next day and it wasn’t ever reported from a reliable journo (Joyce, King or McNulty).

The Mina deal could still come off, I think it’s obvious he wants to stay at Barca, he’s only been there for six months but if he cannot get reassurances of first team football he may be forced to go. For now that’s out of our hands.

Jesús signed for Man City two years ago, we’ve transfer fees sky rocket over that period of time. Jesús also wasn’t been sold to a Premier League rival, especially one that essentially stole their manager. It’s hard not to see some kind of compensation being included for Silva as a part of that deal either. I’m excited at the prospect of Richarlison, I won’t lie i’m nervous with the amount of money we’re out laying. However he is only 21 and played some unreal football under Silva and has the physical traits to develop into a ridiculously good player. The left wing is a position we truely haven’t filled since Pienaar left the first time.

Pretty poor lineup for the friendly v Blackburn as it seems Silva still giving backup players a chance to impress.

Nobody taking said chance & 2-0 down. Not going to go into this season with much optimism, if any....

lol wow. Turn it up. I've watched numerous Ajax games thanks as I have a few dutch friends. Watch his tapes. He lacks explosive speed which you need now in the EPL and his foot skills aren't great. Barkley is better at both, he just doesn't work as hard and won't sign Koemans contract because he doesn't like our poor excuse for a manager.
