Stanley's character assassination of Adam Pattison () over in the Drafts thread got me thinking... Where have all of our still-playing ex-Sainters ended up?

From the VFL down in Victoria, to the various state leagues around the country, who knows what and where?

The Ammos would be the league I'm most familiar with, but in any event I can start the ball rolling...

He wouldn't be in it now but my mate played on Robert Harvey in the VAFA a couple of years back. Said he was amazed to keep up with him for the first couple of minutes as Harvey looked done, sucking air at the next bounce.. then bam was off again and my mate couldnt match him.

Eljay (preferred to Barlow) is injured after playing reserves in the SANFL.

Fair enough.. Uncle Barrels is after those in the VFL, SANFL etc, we all know where Ball, Goddard, Maguire etc are and most would already know it's Ball's 200th.

Birss is playing for West Adelaide Bloods. I know the Westies' chaplain, and he reckons Shane is a fantastic bloke. Helped with renovation work on Richmond Baptist here over the off-season, along with a lot of the boys.

I still have a soft spot for the Birss.

Thanks for that. I like most Saints supporters, have a soft spot for Ball. A great player and club man, that Lyin drove out. Good luck to him on the day and for the rest of his career at Collingwood.

I've played against matthew ferguson (sale football club) a few times in the past few years. the first time I did he kicked 11 straight and something like 9 in the first half lol

You're stiff. Kicked 0.4 in one of his last AFL games, and 7.5 in a VFL game (which should have been 10 from my match report).

I remember watching the 0.4 I'm pretty sure it was against melbourne iirc? he played well to taking some big pack marks and some bullet like leads. very unlucky not to kick any goals that day. dunno why he was delisted or not promoted.


from what I've seen he is a great set shot too. there were no gimmes that day.. he was slotting them from 50 on the boundary. that's the best individual effort ive seen from a player playing against me.
