Well, tonight proved it. Even though it didn't need any more proof. Football is a team game, and the slightest brain fade or wrong decision can ultimately put you, your team mates, and your club in the firing line. Whether that be on the scoreboard or morale.

Tonight, though our errors were not always blatant...they were constant. We simply could not find 3 good disposals in a row - you can't win games like that. You need to maximise return from every chance, and we didn't.

Brainfarts:

- Thornton spoiling from front on. Though legal, it can be given as a free. He should know that.
- Thornton giving Davey a free. Absolute idiot act.
- Johnson running over the goal square while kicking out. Could have ended in a goal.
- Jacobs handpassing to Simpson to kick a goal 50m out and on the boundary. When has he ever kicked on from there?
- Fevola playing on 4m out.
- Mitch Robinson feigning a handpass to Fevola, then deciding to go it himself, then handpassing to Fevola. Don't let the opposition know what you're thinking Robbo.

Skills:

- Fevola. Average could be the only description.
- Kicking to a contest. Look for leading targets. Midfielders need to learn how to lead.
- Set shots. Generally appalling.

I hope to God Ratts sprays the living shit out of them, they all dished up 90% of their capacity and it showed. You can't lose games like this and play finals. We were expected to win, and we lost convincingly. We let ourselves down.

The boys have got to realise that shit like this is not acceptable anymore - if we want to move forward as a club then they have to get out of the 2006 mindset and give 100% every time they put on that jumper. We need to exploit every single chance or pay the consequences.

Judd, Wiggins, Kreuzer and Murphy all deserve a pat on the back however. They didn't give up. Diamonds in the rough that's for sure.
