Yep. Wouldn't bet on that at all. With the two Ashcrofts their midfield is set for ten years amd they have NGA talent coming through - i fear they will regenerate their list quickly.

We all would love to know what Cooper, the Hawks and Lions are thinking but in reality we will all be none the wiser until the end of next year. But it would be the sweetest thing ever if the Lions pass Cooper up for other academy prospects and he ends up a 300 game player for us! One thing for certain then would be the club asking at the end of his hypothetical career “are you really, really, really sure you want to retire?”

I think we will have a better indication at the end of the trade period this year. If we have no F1 and multiple F2's this would indicate a collection of points in preparation for a bid on young Coops.
