BTW, Pokie machines, at least in Qld and Im pretty sure NSW and Vic, DO NOT accept $50 notes.
All pokies venues have cameras, thousands of dollars are getting circulated and you think they are stupid enough to have no security cameras? As I said, I would wear a latex glove when putting the note in the machine, Casinos have cameras, Pubs & RSL's don't.
I'm on a winner.![]()

Not sure if it's true but on NOVA this morning they were talking about this topic and were saying that you can tell it's a fake if David Unaipon's (guy on the back) name is missing on the 50.
Surely this a troll, no one is that stupid. As for the fakes I have heard the fake $20's are being circulated.
just in regards to the fingerprints being on more multiple copies it is feasible that it could be an innocent party - what if the counterfeiter went to a bar and put 10 of his fifties over the bar to buy drinks. no one at a bar is going to be checking for counterfeit notes and the barman would have his fingerprints all over the notes.
obviously this doesn't just apply to bars - anywhere were a person with counterfeit notes could go repeatadly to get rid of his money.
you can take it further - a lot of bars and shops pay their employee's in cash. it is definately feasible that the employee's could end up with 3 or 4 counterfeit notes and find themselves in a lot of trouble if caught with them..... interest scenario's.
