They don't go anywhere. Once you do the quest to unlock the settlement there is literally no point to doing them outside some xp.

It has no impact. Much like the Brotherhood, institute and railroad radiant quests
Basically 90% of the side quests.

Finally started to get into it a bit more. Eased up on the main quest after finishing the brain sequence thing and decided to explore more.

Started at about 5pm today with the aim of going to do that Minutemen quest where you take back a building, ended up constantly running into things on the way there, cleared a ton of buildings, ran into a few quests. After all this checked the time, 12am and still not that close to Preston's question location.

Addictive.

Re: those distress signals you get when activating a satellite, anyone else find it near impossible to hear them thanks to it being quiet AF and the loud static? I have my TV volume at 100 and still I can't make them out.

They get louder and clearer as you move towards them.

God knows which direction that could be.

Stand at the antenna and when moving in a certain direction you will lose the signal. Once lost walk in the exact opposite direction and it'll lead you there.

You can now wire shit up without using copper. Thats just fantastic.

Yep, should have been that way from the beginning, was such a pita to start with.

Can you guys elaborate further?
You used to have to use copper to wire shit up, from your generator to whatever, but with the new update you dont have too. The amount of times i finally finished lighting everything then making a generator and being outta copper. Felt like it wasnt worth it imo

Hadn't played any gaming for a while and put a solid run of this in over the weekend. I didn't warm to it as quickly as the others I played in series. Like it more as it went along, then the Glowing Sea.....next level greatness.

Also no doubt going over old ground (fairly sure this would have been worked out already but just in case some missed it) but easy way to make many many many (did I mention many)caps for those interested.
Was going to include an image but on other console can upload latter if people keen for a look. In all of the Settlements that have access to a good supply of water, build as many industrial water filters as you can. Getting around 350 purified water bottles from each area when I visit. Then sell them bad boys like its going out of fashion.

Made easier with the Local Leader Perk to run supply lines and the Long Haul Perk to fast travel whilst over-encumbered.

So with the update it now shows what a settler is assigned to. Is there a way to see which settlements a provisioner is running between? I have several redundant ones I'd like to clean up, but I don't want to undo one of the good ones.

Ammo, Chems and Junk Shipments I tend to go with. Once they run out of caps I will go for things with the least amount of weight.
I had enough chems to start a distribution business after i rolled the drug deal outside diamond city :p

i'd just clean them out of Gauss rifle and 44 ammo...tricky to find
