Far Harbor

A new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Want a chance to play these add-ons early? We’ll be running closed betas for each of the add-ons for consoles and PC. And you can sign up right now on Bethesda.net. In order to apply, you’ll need to create a registered Bethesda.net account. We’ll be selecting applicants in the upcoming weeks. Players accepted into the beta will receive a code to redeem the content. The beta is the full version (complete with achievements) and those participating will not have to purchase the add-on.

Beyond add-ons, we’ll continue to offer free updates to the game, including new features like the recent weapon debris for PC, and increased draw distances for consoles, as well as more optimizations to gameplay and quests. And something that we’re really excited about, a complete overhaul of Survival Mode that changes how you play the whole game: food, sleep, diseases, danger and more.

Here's hoping the Wasteland Workshop DLC allows the gamer too experience the thrill of being able to build a Settlement Fence that lines up and joins together whilst using either the PS4 or Xbox 1 gaming console.

$80 for a season pass is a crazy amount, I get the whole 'value' thing but that's a lot for DLC that you have to assume quality of when pre-purchasing.

At least if you buy a game for that price and don't like it you generally have the option of returning it.

I just hope the future dlc's are worth it because Far Harbor doesn't sound as good as some of the Fallout 3 dlc.

Because the first 2 sets sound like they're pretty superfluous for people that want more story content. Far Harbor sounds interesting, but that alone isn't enough. Neither is 'we have more stuff coming' without any idea of what it is.

Probably time to trade the game and grab a GOTY edition in a year if it turns out the season pass turns out to have decent content.

That's the business practice of companies today. Try to gouge what they can for a season pass as it's money without even needing to offer a product (Battlefront lololol). I'm fine waiting.

Bethesda have won a case to sell Fallout 3 in Germany which was banned a few years ago, apparently it takes a lot of effort and money to do this so the fact they went through with it has started rumours that they are looking at remaking/remastering Fallout 3, wonder if the idea of the increase on the season pass is to include Fallout 3.

I don't see the issue with the price raise? They've given you time to buy it cheaper now for the same price it was before. If you don't buy it now, then thats on you. It seems they decided to add more as an after thought which is great because it at least gives the game more longevity.

Given Far Harbour is 40 bucks on it's own, i'm quite happy to pay 49 now and roll the dice there will be much better content coming
