So are we expecting a D3 like mea culpa + redesign or are Beth incapable of such

Wonder if the result will drive changes to plans ES6

Guess it depends if it hurts sales (although D3 did record #s early)

Guess therefore it depends on micro $. Again with the D3, but the auction house was never the continued rev generator if was meant to be. That’s really what hurt it

I think $54 on the PS store is to good to turn down.

Reviews are scaring me off though, to those who have played with others and put some hours into it, how is it? I loved fallout 4, and I know this is online but how does it compare?

The stash limit is obscenely low at the moment. They've said it will be patched to increase it but no ETA unfortunately
so the game doesn't even yet cater to the scavver builders like me, who I thought they were aiming at.

What is the end game in this game?

Launch a nuke and farm the rare mats to make better gear

People have datamined the closed vaults being end game dungeons that aren't in game yet, the highest level boss in the nuke zones is 3 star and it goes upto 5.

And there is also talk of unreleased team deathmatch and faction based pvp

I've already run into a weight limit at my ****ing camp! How the hell can that be possible?

You're collecting too much crap, gotta get out of the fallout mindset of grabbing everything. Just Mark what you need and make sure you are scraping everything before you store it

I haven't even collected enough aluminium to make something to scrap it with yet

???

Are you scraping all the crap you collect before it goes in your stash

I literally have 4 power armour frames
Between 50-100 of most junk categories except screws why the **** are screws so hard to find
And every outfit i have found so far.

**** off ammo you don't need i only keep 10mm 308 and shotgun shells atm and a little bit of everything else

Watch your aid category as well no need tp keep 20 buffjets or a heap of dirty water

Sitting at about 350lb in my stash, level 32

Watched the IGN review. Basically summed up as a game that doesn't really know what it is or who it's for. That was my initial concern when they announced it.

The weirdest thing to me is people saying when they do run into other players they often don't talk. Wouldn't that be the best thing about the game given how sparse interaction is? People are weird.

If it's on pc it's because a lot of people have voice chat off because there is no push to talk or because when you join a team it defaults to team chat only so you can't actually talk to people outside of the team.

Some very weird design decisions

It's my least favourite Fallout, but a 5/10 seems harsh. What were IGN expecting?

In its current state 5/10 is spot on. The game is a buggy incomplete mess and full of baffling design decisions and I'm glad reviewers haven't been afraid to call Bethesda out on their bullshit. Despite all that, I've still been having a blast with it, put about 30 hours in so far and will likely see the main quest through to the end before moving on. The core gameplay loop is enjoyable enough that the potential for a good game is there, it just needs a hell of a lot of work to get to that point. Will be fascinating to revisit this in 12 months time provided it gets the attention it needs.

Just reached level 20 and I've had a full stash for a while. It's filled with junk, power armour pieces and armour/weapons that are too high level for me to access. I've just been playing over-encumbered half the time. To clear space I've just been giving all of my unique items/100s of ammo/power armour pieces to strangers, but still sitting at just 15 free space after clearing stuff out.

anything too high level for me gets instantly scrapped, no point hanging onto shit in case you might need it when everything respawns

For anyone struggling with carry limits you can glitch an infinite limit by equipping/unequipping any pocketed piece of armour repeatedly. It can take a while but eventually you will hit a negative value and can carry as much as you want. You have to do it again every time you join a new server but the game has been infinitely more enjoyable since I discovered this :D
