Yeah the environment is top notch but it’s the lack of “story” that really diminishes the game

I like the story just the lack of payoff in some quests is dumb, you do the thing or kill the boss and it's just like cool and gives you rewards there is no follow up it feels really soulless at that point.

Game has the best morality system of any Fallout.

Loaded into a game, and someone had a base in my C.A.M.P zone. So I went and tried to kill them, and succeeded. They were some sort of melee player and my combat shotgun made quick work of them. I destroyed their turrets and their workbenches, before they came back and I killed them twice more. I then surrendered and let them kill me once, then went on my way.

I've felt terrible about it for the 10 hours since.

2 Rooms for guests I need doors though so if anyone on pc has spare plans for doors hit me up, both rooms have racing car beds

Communal crafting area

and my private quarters upstairs

Water purifier and farm, 10 of each plant needed for a constant supply of adhesive

The mascot of my BnB

and my new friends

The ****ing hermit crab it wouldn't let me fast travel because enemies were near looking around can't see anything and VATS keeps highlighting what I thought was a wrecked bus, so I shot the bus and it scared the shit out of me when the bus turned around.

Guess it depends if it hurts sales (although D3 did record #s early)

Guess therefore it depends on micro $. Again with the D3, but the auction house was never the continued rev generator if was meant to be. That’s really what hurt it

todd howard will just make some joke referencing fallout 76, like the ones where he's referenced the shitty horse armor dlc and 'we've read on the internet our games have a few bugs' just to appear self-aware as he sells ES6 on stage. they could make some more interesting quests but other than that i'm not sure how they can re-introduce any sort of complexity into the rpg mechanics.

Allegedly it goes up with your level but i'm not sure about that.

Only have 4 turrets they eat a ton of the budget and it's all built on one foundation and a set of stairs so it's easy to move.

I've got 2 big generators powering the water purifier and 2 smalls hidden in the roof powering the lights inside, every workbench except the PA one (still need 3 more pieces of excavator to get the plans) 3 beds, 2 couches and a few seats, the vault girl and some posters and a book shelf upstairs.

Then 10 each of tato muttfruit and corn and fences for everything to keep the riff raff out.

Everything I have is right on the limit, I can't build anything else major

I need internal doors and I wouldn't mind adding some fences to the front porch as well

I saw someone had built a camp hanging off a cliff...it had a stairway leading to a building with no supporting structures underneath, typical Bethesda building logic.

I also hit my album limit...I didn't realise their was one

Having an album limit is very weird considering all the screenshots are stored locally

Also for those that have reached the building limit I have heard it goes up with level but you need to go into your pipboy and select move camp to trigger it even if you don't actually move the camp and just quit back out that should apparently give you the extra space

I'm quickly getting bored to be honest, prob won't play much after i finish the main quest lines. Might be better if you have people to play with though.

35 is cheap though easily get 50-60 hours out of it.

I knew this wouldn't get straight 10s from every reviewer, but I was expecting 7s and 8s. It's getting absolutely caned with 4s and has completely put me off. Is it that bad?

It's not that bad, people are just shitty that it's not exactly the game they wanted mostly

The game isn’t that bad but it really does lack meaningful NPCs and choices to make, enjoy all the cool locations but not enough to do at them.

base building is more fiddly and lacking in logic than i ever dreamed it could be. I really like how sometimes you fiddle around until you get the piece you want to place to go green but it still mysteriously can't be placed for arcane reasons beyond mere human perception, and the logic with stairs, well that truly is a wonder to behold

The fact that you can't put stairs to the side of a block shits me and is the reason my stairs are all outside. They take up too much room inside.

They really have created a huge world. Alot of effort has been made into creating this world..
I wish Fallout 4 had a map like this.

The fact that you can't put stairs to the side of a block shits me and is the reason my stairs are all outside. They take up too much room inside.

Melee is stupidly op though, needed ammo because i was out so crafted a fire axe and went farming and even without any melee perks it ******* melts

I was hoping that maybe you unlock some 'side stairs' at some point, or even those stairs that have floors attached top and bottom.
