D_P_S found the best C.A.M.P location... downside is the location (The Mire region) lmao.:p
Your high enough level now that it shouldn’t be that big of an issue, but considering where my camp is it covers our bases pretty well to save on caps

What time will you be on tonight?

Not sure. Probably late. Watching a movie with the missus and then will jump on. Around 10pm (by the time I eat dinner and chuck it on). Will probably get to refinding this location and build. Sick of having my spot taken because it is popular.

Fallout 76 has had a rough launch but no one really knew how bad the situation was until reports of the game possibly going free to play started surfacing.

The news remains unconfirmed but it looks like preparations for Fallout 76 going free to play are possibly underway. EB Games, one of the biggest video game retailers in Australia, is reportedly removing physical copies of Fallout 76 from its shelves.

According to reports, EB Games has pulled new copies of Fallout 76 from its shelves. It is a distributor recall and has nothing to do with EB Games itself pulling the plug on Fallout 76. Tricentennial or Power Armor editions are still available so it is only the base game copies that are being pulled for the time being.

What the actual ****.

Shame, it's not a bad game, have had some good fun on it when it runs nicely. But this is similar to the issues they had with ESO with the subs which they then backed off on.

I grabbed the collector's edition recently as the price was too good to pass up...and they were close to getting snapped up again.

But yeah, this is a bit like vanilla Destiny 2 and vanilla No Man's Sky (sans Bethseda bugs) where the game is fun to kick a few hours in. Ultimately though, they are hollow experiences that don't warrant a AAA title RRP. Thing is Bethseda copped a mountain of criticism prior to release and still shipped as is.

Have they got much on the horizon atm? Can't imagine they'll bother supporting it long term unless they start rolling out some huge (and free updates) in the next 6-12 months. Probably better off letting it die and cutting their losses.

Even as a free game, can't see a long term sustainable player base sticking with it.

Hard to disagree. I can't see it getting the support of ESO either, at least in that game you can kinda justify selling cosmetics and skins due to the fantasy element, in the Fallout world it's all kinda bland anyway.

The whole thing is most likely a testbed for future online-based games. They'll probably support it until their next online game comes out, then it'll die a slow death.
