Anyone that watches Archer and Family Guy, the guy that does the voice of Carl (works at that servo) does the voice of Archer as well. It's pretty obvious, same voice used but I haven't heard many people point it out.

Gotta say last few seasons have lost it a bit but some of the earlier seasons were brilliant.

That Family Guy more often than not doesn't even bother with a thought out story and plot and just wedges jokes in without any relevancy makes it inferior to The Simpsons, South Park, Futurama automatically in my mind.

Family Guy has some brilliant moments, moments that are equal to some of the other shows top moments in fact IMO. But every episode having little to zero story line to follow just gets boring after a while.

A story helps the show hold up over time. A pastiche of pop culture references might be kind of funny when they're current but it gets old fast.

For that reason I kind of suspect American Dad will be viewed as the better show in retrospect.
