Vs Bulldogs x 3 in 1992 as well as games at Subi and vs the blues. Loved the hammering af Carrara as well.

1993 vs West Coast x 2 both were good games. Also liked the games vs essendon x 2 and North.

1994 all the finals games

1995 the close loss vs Carlton and the big wins in the finals.

1996 win over West Coast and Carlton Mansfield kicked 4 vs the blues in that Friday night game at the G. I liked the draw vs Brisbane too.

1997 Ricciardis 6 goals against the Eagles in round 2

1999 round 1 over north 22 goals to 2, 8 goals in the last what a come back. Then the next week you kicked 24 goals to the Bulldogs 20 at Optus Oval.

That's just in the 90s. There's heaps more. And can't forget the 91 final vs hawthorn and the 2 matches in 92 where Ablett had a go at full back vs Dunstall.

R9, 2012. Cats v Hawks. One of my all time favourites with Tommy Hawkins kicking the winning goal after the siren, and it wasn't just any goal, but a booming kick from outside 50m. This was a classic high pressure game, with players from both sides throwing themselves at the contest. In the end Hawks were thwarted by Selwood breaking free in the dying seconds and passing to Tommy

Good finals against Dons and Lions 2004
Eagles 2006 was a cracker
Pies Prelim 2007

I have an odd one I put on this list.. the 2009 blockbuster of the titans between geelong and st kilda.

Even tho we lost due to gardener giving Blake a bath and taking a contested mark in the goal square…

We got jumped, it was an arm wrestle.. then we went bizerk in the last and narrowed a 4 goal margin to scores level.

It is the only time in history two sides have gone undefeated to that point and played off.

I recall leaving that game with confidence saying “ we have their measure” which turned out to be true in the GF.

Looking back on that game in hindsight now knowing the GF result that followed, I couldn’t have scripted it better.

Most nervous I have ever felt for a footy game
Me too and for that reason it's NOT one of my favourites! I was relieved to win, but cannot say I enjoyed the game

Had a good game vs North at Marvel early on in 2017. You overcame a deficit.

2022 QF has to be up there, probably the best game I've seen live.
Actually yes… forgot about that one somehow.

Absolutely insane game.
Collingwood threw the kitchen sink at us, brought the game down to their level, we adapted for the scrap fight and found a way to win

Vs Bulldogs 2009 where Johnson missed at the end. Good contest.

Had a game against West Coast where you were down 32 at half time but led at 3qtr time In 2018. Lost by 15 points but it was a good contest.

2021 vs eagles Mitchell Duncan torpedo after the half time siren. Think you won by 98 points.

One of my all time favourite home and away wins would be Round 1 v North Melbourne 1999.
That was a better. I think you guys were down 40 at qtr time or so. 5 goals down at 3qtr time you kicked 8 last quarter goals to win by 1.

Played the Doggies in another better the next week. I thought you guys were headed for a great season that year.

I was overseas and in Rome for that match. Was filthy I missed it, would have been epic to be there live.

Yeah it was one of the best comebacks by us. Iirc Paul Lynch played really well that night.

*Edit: no that was the 1997 H&A win. Another good match tho

Many classics vs the hawks from 2008-13

2016 qualifying final a gem.

2018 easter Monday a beauty. You lost by a point but it was a good game.

I'll avoid the finals wins, which are obvious ones.

I was at this game, close to the goals in which the late winner bounced through.

A sign of Geelong on the rise in the years to come, against a very good Power side.

Thumping Richmond in 2007 where you kicked about 35 goals. I was in America at the time and couldn't believe it.
