Come on Freddy B you are just stirring .
Although know you like Smack but he is not really your favourite player as trying to stir some people up including me .
Sloane is mine along with Danger and Sauce.
All time you cannot go past Darren J (magic Man ) with Rehn.
Just for FB my all time anti player was Burton . Boy did he frustrate me .

All time: Andrew Jarman
Runner up: Mathew Liptak
Current: Tex but Rory Sloane is fast catching.

All time: Mods
Runners up : Goody, Trent H
Current : So many guns and lovable dudes to chose from :) ! Tex, Danger, Wright, Sloane, Hendo, DMac, Brodie Martin, Smack, Porps, Thommo, Pup.

I cant go past Brodie Smith however. Absolute star and beast at the contest. Love his pace and long kicking. Cant wait to follow him as he develops into a Judd like midfielder*

* over the top i know alex but i really rate him ;)

As a 9 year old I pick the bald guy as my favourite player. Turns out he had some skill too. Today it will have to be Tex I think, but that is taking Thompsons contribution for granted.

There's a lot to choose from so it's hard to decide. The first to come to mind is Bassett, always enjoyed his dummy spits, showed passion.:thumbsu:

As far as the current ones go, what Skippy231 said;

My personal fave apart from the usual suspects (danger, waker, sloane) is Brodie Smith. So much upside and has the poise and balance when the ball is in the vicinity. Also his kicking is nearly at the elite level. Gotta love seeing him let loose with the ball around the 50m arc.

Love watching a midfielder kick one from beyond the fifty.

Sad thing Knight's injury problems, very sad.:(

All-time: Andrew McLeod, loved watching that man run and carry and bork and kick goals and ahhhh he was a god. Such a smooth looking runner too, even with screwed knees.

Current: Patrick Dangerfield. After being handed the number 32 from a past champion of my football club when I played my first senior game, I embraced it and any crows player who wore it. I like his toughness and power, just needs to improve his vision a little and he's a scary, scary player. Good friends with his missus which is kind of weird too.

Previous: Bickley & McLeod.

Current favs include: Johncock, Talia, MacKay, Vince, Sloane & Callinan but my favourite is Dangerfield. Getting 32 on the back of the Guernsey next season :thumbsu:

Can't choose.

AT: Roo, McLeod

Current: Thompson ( but boy there are soooo many others)

For sheer persistence and guts: gotta be Nutta. :)

Same 2 players for me.

Andrew was a Rolls Royce amongst Volkwagens. Beautiful balance and just glided along the ground in and out of packs. He was a freak. :thumbsu:

Dnagerfield is my man in the current era. Tough, skilful, powerful, speed. He more than honours the number 32 on his back that Roo passed onto him. Will be the best player in the AFL within 2 years at most.

Was Tippett

Now it is Tex, his ability to drag us into contests is such a remarkable quality. Being behind the goals at half time of the Semi Final with the best angle in the house there was no doubt he was to take over.

His humour off the field is just the tonic to our recent woes.

Im thinking you are attempting to make your thread the new Tippett is gone thread by answering every response. ;)

All time for me is Andrew McLeod. Silky smooth on either side of his body and just oozed class.

These days it's hard to split the new fab four - Tex, Sloane, Dangerfield and thommo. What an amazing combination!

Outside of the usual suspects, Henderson and Smith.

All-time McLeod. Loved Ben Hart too.

Holy crap, you stole my Hendo and Smith, and I'm adding Matty Wright to that lot....its just a given that the Dangers, Thommos Sloans Texs of the team are guns and favourites, but Smith and Wright slip under the radar very nicely.

Four??

Always loved Nigel & his outlook on life.
But he's a Lib... surely you jest Nodster.

PS - current "favourite" would have to be Walker... sure he's a throw back to the classic Full Forward: greatly gifted, entertaining, unintentionally funny and unintentionally stupid. He is this generations Warrick Capper... which is a good thing and something desperately needed in today's vanilla footy landscape.

I forgave him for that one fault, anyway he failed in his attempt at a political career.
