Great topic you_idiot! The only problem is, I love any type of pasta, so voting was a tough choice.

A Ravioli in a nice tomato, onion and red wine sauce is delish, while a white cream Tortellini with bacon, cheese, onions, mushrooms and sundried tomatos is to die for.

Just work your way down the menu from any restaurant in Lygon Street.

I would consider myself as qualified among your small circle of food experts, having actually drawn a regular paycheck from a leading catering company in California. ;)

And there is no limit to what's on your palates for pasta... the list I came up with was just a brainstorm.

Capelleti is very similar to Tortellini - so if you like that then youll pretty much love Capelleti!
 
Plain ol' Sbag bol for me. My family knows nothing outside of spaghetti bolognaise, we had raviolli once but didn't like it much. Tortellini is OK.

the most exquisite pasta I had was at Florentino's. it was three fat parcels of ravioli, filled with lobster, drizzled with olive oil and swimming in a light fish roe infused sauce.

yes, this and the souvlaki thread is a good idea before lunch! :D
