Hey Mobbs, is there a set percentage chance for a Fullback to spoil or out mark a Full Forward in the Sim?

Ive had a look at up until the most recent game we have:

Goals:

1: 50 cooney (MBD)
2: 49 Bengwatkin (BOM)
3: 49 Tigland (FUR)
4: 48 Schulzenfe (ALB)
5: 48 Tarkyn_24 (ESH)

Marks:
189: 9 Tigland (FUR)
194: 8 cooney (MBD)
204: 7 Tarkyn_24 (ESH)
212: 6 Bengwatkin (BOM)
211: 6 Schulzenfe (ALB)

Thats a pretty big difference between goals from marks and goals from simple snatch and kicks or handball recieves (Which would probably be limited as well)

Some of the Ratios are pretty crazy.

cooney 0.16
Beng 0.12
Schulz 0.12
Tigland 0.19
Tarkyn 0.15

For each goal we have kicked thats the mark ratio.
 
I believe there is a cross-the-board ratio of success to get possession no matter the position :

?% The intended recipient wins possession
- ?% This was a mark
- ?% There was no mark but he won possession anyway
?% The opponent wins possession
- ?% This was a mark
- ?% There was no mark but he won possession anyway
?% Nobody marked it
- Goes to a standard fight-for-ball process, ie equal to after a ball-up.

Of course there are handpasses, and free kicks, too.

I think you'll find a lot of full forward goals come from dispossessing the opposition.

This is true, like why cant I kick 13 like Buddy can? And why cant I get a million dollars a year for 9 years for playing Qooty?

4 : 17.57 {C} - He has a bounce.
4 : 18.01 {C} - Gets hands off within the nick of time.
4 : 18.05 {C} - Finds Cheetah with a handball.

Who was the link up man? WHO GOD DAMN IT!!!!!

So my request would be to make commentary more identifiable of players.

would need a split of handball commentary files into one where the player was named and one where it wasn't, so it could know not to have two in a row from the latter.

I was assuming from the commentary above that there was someone involved in the play apart from Cheetah and that the sim keeps track of who has the ball, preventing duplicates?!?!? I'm suspecting my assumptions are wrong.

Not a suggestion for the sim but for the SFA, didn't know where else to put it.

I think the SFA should have a rookie showcase. Get some of the best posters off the club boards etc who could excel in the Sweet FA and give them a brief low down and have them play in a match full of other newbies who haven't signed up. See how the go, and if they're interested sign them up. I know similar things have happened before but I think they could be better run and if done so could really benefit the league. A lot of the time players aren't interested in the SFA because it looks to confusing and unusual so why not give them a 'demo' with a one off match to see how they go and whether they like it or not.

But keep injuries to about 2 weeks and suspensions to about 4. You don't want people to left out of game for a full season due to a broken knee, or a Barry Hall style bashing.
1 or two weeks max I'd say. A long absense for a "sometimes" player could spell the end for their career if they lose interest. Especially considering you have no control over the injury/suspension.

If injuries/suspensions were brought in/back in how likely would it be that I wouldn't have to see The Jet post on match days - scale 1 to 10 , 10 being 100%
The Jet would be immune, he plays under an injury cloud every week and is always under suspension.

Of disbelief.
 
What about contested marks? Wouldn't really have any baring on the result, but would give KPPs higher exie scores, giving them another point of difference over Non-KPPs.

Contested possession would be a good inclusion, but it would have nothing to do with Exie and DreamTeam scores. Contested possession will only effect SuperCoach scores. This is the breakdown of the three forms of scoring. As you can see DT, and Exie are both simplistic, whereas SuperCoach relies on the stats that are not generated through the sim.
