What are his chances of going to Carlton in the Pre season draft. Or will a trade with St Kilda eventuate
 
First pick and that's it.

That's a pretty sweet deal for Adelaide if you ask me - an ex-pick 14 who's done nothing.

If they can get better elsewhere, they can go for it.
 
who is this guy,i'd never really heard anything about him until recently.all i can say is trade week will be poor if the best they can come up with are players like watts & cole & ted richards.

I think the AFL has to give you permission to re-draft a player from your club that nominates for the PSD.

Generally clubs only de-list and re-draft to get a veteran off the rookie list where they have been taking a salary cap reduction, we did that with Martyn... pity we re-drafted him. :p
 
Not too may St.K supporters have their heart set on getting Watts.

Our time is in the next 2-3 years (hopefully next 12 months). An instant imapct player is what we want.

Personally I'd be after Byron Pickett...he's just what we need. A back up ruckman is 2nd priority.
 
Fergus watts is the worst player in the afl he is absolutely ******** he is a sook if hes home sick he needs to concentrate. He is as bad as Johnathon Hay as a forward. I think Fergus Watts should take upa job in a fast food outlet

But Hamil and Guerra do exactly the same thing as him!

Also I think you'll find Jim Watts has his heart set on getting Fergus ;)

Just watched the SANFL GF.

Watts 2.2 (and a undiciplined moment) is a poor man's Daniel Schell 4.4.

Very over rated.
Young Knight shows a bit of poise though.
 
Watts is actually a very talented player and would be quite the pick up for st.kilda. His height would be very handy given that gehrig is not going to be around for ever (maybe not even next year). Watts would in turn release Kosi from having to assume the full forward position :thumbsu:

There seem to be far too many people talking this bloke up. He's done nothing, acts like a primadonna, has a shcoking attitude and demands to play at the team his dad works for. If i was Adelaide i'd prefer to let him walk. Port got nothing for Stevens but he's done nothing and killed his footy career. Do the same with these sorts of players i say. What a shocking attitude, he's no great star, and i hope he ends up wondering why he left a successful club and going into the PSD. Blokes like this aren't the target for AFL teams, their problem childs who can disrupt an entire team. The Saints dont need him, nor should they want him. Hack.
