No offers to that point, was getting annoyed with not having any so went for the EASFC cheat. I guess maybe because I didn't do fantastically with WSW in my first season, but definitely expected something after winning the Premiership in the 2nd and leading almost all season now in my 3rd.

Australia aren't very good. My Wanderers team could beat them. :(
 
anybody know how to play 2 player in h2h seasons? i was trying to play with a mate but wouldn't work, the 2nd controller just wouldn't do anything and i had control over every player. i pressed triangle at the team select screen to add a guest and it made the noise but still nothing.

Managing Barnet, I'm in the N-Power Championship after three years.

Traded in some players but mostly raising the free agents.

Valdivia is a 18yo FA signing with 5* skills & the strength trait, just a brute of a defender.

Yeray I traded in from Villareal for $21 million.

Suarez is another FA, haven't played with him yet as I signed him last night.

Sykes was a scouted player but he keeps asking for more money. Greedy little shit.

Coady was bought from Liverpool, gun CDM, Gardner from Villa, awesome long shot rating.

Calado was a EASFC scouted player - 17yo, 74 rated, already worth 8m & I've knocked bac offers from Real Madrid for him. Scored 33 goals last season.

Ranocchia I just signed last night, same as Ambrosio. Vuckic is from Newcastle for 7m & has a killer left foot.

Pretty good team. Theyre fun to play with.

This really is a stupid question, but how do you hold your opponent off the ball to let it cross the line? I've been trying to get the trophy for letting the ball go out for a goal kick after holding your opponent away from the ball and I have no idea how to.

Oh, and Merry Christmas. May you all take advantage of the FIFA newbies.

If you want to back off completely hold L2.
 
Made it to Division 1 in 11 seasons this time compared to 48 in FIFA 12 :thumbsu:

I finally realised how much of a beast team Italy is - Pirlo, Giovonco, Balotelli, Buffon etc - just so good

I bought him once for 12mil when he wanted out.

Sold him for 45mil in the January transfers of the same season.

'Career' is the option you want. Next to Seasons on the menu, seasons is an online mode where you pick a team each game and advance through seasons based on points for winning and drawing.
 
3rd season done with the Wanderers now. Finished on top of the ladder and won the championship. Another tough Grand Final, going through the match 0-0 and winning on penalties 5-3.

Not sure where to go now. Only had 3 losses during the season and ended with a +34 goal difference, so I'm getting on top of the opposition a lot, although it's still fun mainly due to the team that I have built.

Appiah-Kubi ended the season with 26 goals, doubling the next best player.

Mooy now up to a 76 rated player overall, still an absolute gun. The blinding pace of Appiah-Kubi has been complimented with his other stats getting a boost to see him now at 67 overall.

Got a first side overall average of 69 and an average age of 24 (Topor-Stanley blowing it out a bit due to his 30 years - just got a 16yo CB with a better overall than TS...winning!). So I like how young the side is as well as how good they are, but the level of ability is starting to break away from the rest of the A-League pack.

I might give it one more season and then assess then as I am still having fun and don't have any desire to move to another team and the offers I'm getting don't even stretch beyond the A-League.o_O

OK doing career mode having trouble with the transfer system, playing as Melbourne Victory trying to buy a RB, I have searched and found somebody got a reply saying he would be interested to come if the offer is around 170,000, but I don't know what to do next, do I wait? How do I advance talks or negosiations?? Can't seem to find anything o let me do it.

Have I wait until the transfer window to make an offer, when you're playing the A-League you have to wait until January

Pretty sure I've made a bit of a mistake here...

Was playing head to head matches against some family and friends over Christmas and thought I'd buy the game and play against others online. Clearly didn't think it through as I bought it for the PC (as I do with 90% of my games these days), which obviously has the lowest player base of the 3 main systems. I'm not too worried about the $55 I spent, I just didn't want to spend anymore than that, especially on the same game o_O Hrmmm, well that'll teach me I guess.

Rojas got me all worked up last night so I felt it was right to start a new manager career with Melbourne Victory to see if I can make my way to one of the big English clubs, something that's proving pretty difficult.

I enjoyed my first season with Rojas winning the golden boot at the end of the season. I bought Mitch Nichols and Ben Halloran from Brisbane who were just awesome all season. Come the Grand Final against Brisbane, of course the two that score goals are Nichols and Halloran to win 2-1.

Played out most of my second season until I got an offer from Genk in Belgium with three games left in the season. Went over there and had the task of beating the top two teams (Brugge and Anderlecht) to make the post-season competition. The Belgian post-season comp is incredible. Not sure how many leagues have it but it's like a mini league with the top six teams, all starting with a certain amount of points depending on how well each team did during the regular season. I need to win basically all of them, especially the two games against Brugge and Anderlecht, in order win the title so it's going to be a pretty big challenge.
 
My last 2 seasons in div 1 have had epic endings.

First one I needed 1 point in my last game to remain in div 1 (14 points). I was losing 2-1 and scored in the 88th minute to equalize. Went nuts after the goal.

Second one I needed 8 points from 4 games to remain in div 1. Half way through the game it was nil all and I got signed out of xbox live even though my internet didn't disconnect, I was given the loss. So now I had to win all 3 games to remain in div 1 and I did.

Overall record is 94-32-39, in my 20th season.
