Neymar and Robben are deadly on the wings and Ibrahimovic is a beast.

Kompany and Silva in the middle at the back are strong and fast.

Buffon is the best keeper in the game.

You need assists. The rating thing is good, but draining.

Just wanna say I've never really played much FIFA online until this iteration.

I'm really enjoying just playing 2v2 in the lobbies with randoms (even with the lag) but I must say, it seems 99% of online players need to improve their defense. The most common thing I'm finding is players using the left or right back to charge straight at the ball carrier who is running up the wing. This is what leads to that 1-2 pass inside and back outside for the easy breakaways. A much better way is to control one of the center backs (sorry, not really familiar with soccer terminology) and run diagonally back and towards the wing to chop off the easy break while also holding the 'team mate contain' button to let the CPU controlled LB or RB run forward at the ball carrier. *Sigh* Alas, no one seems to do this.

The other main problem that leads to so many breakaways is reckless, full-offensive defense - when for the whole game players just hold both the 'team mate contain' button and whatever that button is called that makes their own player run at the ball, then they slide tackle at every second contest.

Yeah I'm definitely the worst out of my mates, but I have the best rated team.

Vidic has been a gun in defence, but I probably should have gone for a pacier defence. I'm getting burned by breakaway counter attacks.

Yeah next time we'll definitely track assists, completely slipped my mind. We were originally keeping track of clean sheets as well, but then we realised that it was useless after 5 rounds and 0 clean sheets:p

If you haven't used Juve in the game you're missing out. Best team I have used besides Barca. Need to be patient with them and pass around waiting for the right moment to attack, but it works.
 
I generally use Chelsea in Seasons mode. Luiz as a DM is just beastly.

I generally line up with:

I only use my subs if absolutely necessary, usually with Moses replacing Mata, Ba for Torres, and Lamps for Oscar.

I'm currently in Div. 2 and struggling. I'm going through one of those periods where my players don't react like they should and results are going against me. Ot tends to happen when I get matched up against Japanese players and Koreans.

Only team I use. Defence is just as good as Real Madrid and Giovinco and Vucinic up front is a great pairing.
 
This game annoys me.

It's far too easy to build an invincible squad, it's also hard to resist when you have 100million + sitting around.

Within Jan - July two transfer periods.

Sell Neuer to RM for 60million, but a replacement, some player from Deportivo I believe who has no face but it like 87 stats and 27ish, Buy him for 17.5million and in Jan Bayern buys him of me for 50million:eek:
I bought Lucas for under 30 then sold him to Newcastle for 52million. Barca bought Rooney for 92million.

My teams now ridiculous.

Yeah its tempting...im re started my liverpool save so I can try and play keeping my core group of players...And that means using shelvey and henderson more in the middle. The only real changes I made was in GK , and LB\RB...I also am a fan of german young mids, so recruit as many as them as I can for depth. But my core is still allen, gerrad, suarez, sturridge (tf), agger, skrtel, sterling, and the young liverpool players...traded out lucas & downing. But yeah as I get more cash it will be hard to avoid the temption of getting the default neymar transfer happening like everyone else

50m sale at 85% would get you 42.5m
50m sale at 60% would get you 30m

Sell 10 players for 50m and you would have 125m less compared to the 85% option.

It sounds like it would give you the challenge you're looking for.

If you really want a challenge:

- Choose the worst team in the lowest division of England
- Legendary difficulty
- 60% of player sales go to transfer budget
- Objective is to win EPL & UCL

lol I already done that mate.

This is my first time in about 3 fifa's that I have decided to do a United season.

I usually pick the worst team in the lowest league in England.

Bring back Luton.

CL generally is rather hard but it's not too hard to finish top 3 in the PL.

Got promoted to Division 1 in Seasons mode in dramatic fashion. Needed a win to get promoted as it was my last game. Anyway, I'm losing 2-1 with 10 minutes left and I equalise in the 85th minute with some cheeky maneuvering. Then I have a corner in the 90th minute. I take a short corner and pass it around the box to the other side and I send a low cross in along in front of goal only for their defender to bundle it in for an own goal. Cue relief and celebrations!

Chiellini is the best defender in the game IMO. Giovinco on the left is deadly. People always complain about Pirlo but if you know how to use him he is amazing, pass master.
 
The only "youtube-worthy" goal I've ever scored was with Pirlo from about 40 yards out.
