So.. uh, this is my first FIFA in a long time.. Like FIFA 11 or some shit.

I'm playing a season with the Victory and my scout keeps emailing me that there's no point in scouting anymore... I don't want him to scout at all. I don't care for the management side of the game. Do I HAVE to manage players contracts? Like is there a point where I'll have nobody left in my squad because they've all retired or gone out of contract?

I just want to win the title then pick a new club and start again.
 
Starting another Luton Town season (finally got over the fact I accidentally saved over my previous one) so will look at buying and playing youth and signing free agents when possible.

Haha uhh... management is essentially the point of manager mode.

If you want to just play a single season then go to Tournament Mode (it's sort of tucked away under one of the sub-menus on the main screen) and then just scroll along to A-League. I've never tried it, but it should all end at the end of the first season and nothing will carry over

This looks exactly what I'm after. At least until I work out how and when to sign and sack players :drunk:

Officially had it with this, too much bullshit to make it enjoyable:

- Dribbling way too overpowered, sometimes it just feels absolutely hopeless trying to defend
- Reading opposition perfectly only for interception to go through players legs
- Perfect position for block but goes through players legs
- Tackles ricocheting back to player
- AI not closing down players or getting a loose ball unless manually controlled
- Professional is too easy in manager mode yet world class too difficult and all games feel the same at that level. Pass around, wait for a gap.

I don't get any of this. If you are having problems, search for sliders online and cater it to what will suit you.

Online is a prick this year. The lobbed through ball and high pressure abuse kills the game entirely. A player shouldn't be able to high pressure all game with tiring and defender's are too slow to react to the constant lobbed through balls.

It was worse when it was ranked quick matches before they brought in season's. I used to hate it then because it was either Real Madrid vs Barca every single game because every single person would go them even if you pick an A-League team, at least with season's it gives you even match ups.

It took all of two seasons as Luton before I was way overpowered. Free agents simply don't care if they drop two leagues down.

I couldn't resist signing them all :(

That's what I ended up doing in 14. Set up a 24 team league and just played through the season. Great way to use a whole lot of teams and vs a large range of teams. I don't bother with online, I'm just not that good haha
 
All I do is friendlies.

Me and my mate made two teams full of the best players, when he's not here, I use my team and vs his against the comp.

Well, the top side is mine, and I am better than him. Before I did it, I asked him who he wanted out of Messi and Ronaldo, he said Ronaldo, and that he also wanted Robben and Bale, I did the rest and tried to make them relatively even.

Pirlo is only in my side out of pure bias. 84 overall with Schweinsteiger (88) on the bench. Although Pirlo's passing is justification enough for a starting spot.
