Wow lol.

I am genuinely baffled as to what's happened. I am not that good at FIFA. I genuinely believe I'd get smashed online against the better players.

What I've noticed though is the CPUs defensive line is always so high and I get through with the pace of my players so easily. I wish I struggled to play like you guys lol.

I think one of my key struggles is pace too. Only have a transfer budget of 2 mill so find anyone within that price range that’s good enough to gun it away from other players is near impossible. Only long term projects rather than a first teamer

Never noticed this. On the odd occasion, computer sometimes bosses possession.

Standard start to the day. Was one win off promotion into div 3 and cop these losses. FML

Had another game where I was 13 shots on target to half time, and was down 1-0 after a single shot from my opponent. Ended up grinding a 2-1 win out... 20 SOT to 3 ffs

Its just about learning the new shooting (scoring) mechanics in each situation

Don't get what is with the finishing. Even with the goalkeepers ability increased I am pumping teams. I don't understand why it is so easy to score. I had a super team in 18 and it was not this easy.

I'm kinda disappointed if I'm honest.

I'm the reverse, can't score at all, and then the computer will win a header from a corner that's impossible to stop, or score a scissor kick goal or something utterly ridiculous.

Scored a pretty cool goal last night. Attempted to score, but it hit the crossbar.... the ball landed in front of the goalie, who fumbled when he went to pick it up, I get the ball again.... kick it..... goalie blocked it and it trickled in front of him again. I got the ball yet again, kicked it... and it deflected off the keeper again, only this time it went behind him and rolled backward for a goal . The sequence of events was over in 5-10 seconds, but wow it was exciting stuff .

I actually encountered a glitch that sounds kinda similar to this where my keeper palmed it onto the bar, then went to pick it up but just pushed it in front of himself, and then kicked it out of the box while running over to it, as if the graphic was broken. Luckily nothing came of it but would be a pretty frustrating way to concede.

Hm, I get in behind regularly and then the defense just runs me down, even with pacey players like Zaha.

It was more that their positioning is so poor/they push so high up, I can carve them open with ease.

Yep, regularly lose my shit during Squad Battles when I'll be cruising to a 2-0/3-0 win then the computer will score a couple of crazy goals to absolutely stuff it. The other one is they just ping the ball around rapid fire and you can't get near them then fire a bullet from outside the box. Fair enough I'm on WC, but I don't remember 18 being this nuts, and I played 18 Squad Battles on Legendary and Ultimate.

I love the game but I'm over all the Puskas contenders in this game. This game can get f***** with all the bullshit scissor kicks from ridiculous spots and the easy to do harlem globe trotter shit. They're heading in the right direction with some things but the game is still feels too arcadey in parts.

Also can we please get goalkeepers that play to their attributes and don't punch balls that can easily be caught ? Maybe it's just me but swear that keepers like Handanovic are worse to use than most low 80's rated keepers.

Also is it possible to have teammates not run directly in front of my open shots at goal ? I get more blocked shots from my players than i do the defenders.

I have a love hate relationship with fifa lol

Lacazette is great, Zaha is phenomenal too. I'm not saying I can't score, I can have games where I score 5-6 goals quite easily (though that's because once the comp is a few goals down they open up significantly) but finishing has definitely been farked in this.

Shit yes this, also when you try to pass to a team mate and they run behind an opponent so the ball gets intercepted easily.
