Did you watch the EA play stream? They said there will be pitch notes released next month detailing career mode and pro clubs changes. FUT and ‘Volta’ ones to follow in August I believe.

Nah, just saw the video on their FB page.

I don't envisage them making wholesale changes to career mode. No money in it for them.

Fair enough, just wanted to point out that career isn’t being neglected completely and that the changes will be revealed at a later date. Hope those changes are meaningful enough to the point where I actually consider playing it again!
Was having a look back at some of my old saves just the other day and remembered just how fun it used to be, I also played a bit of the old fifa street too so I’m pretty pumped to see what Volta is.

Yeah, I'm sure they will add new features with career mode.

Whether they're useful not we shall see I guess.

Not having a pro clubs style mode in Volta seems like a massive missed opportunity. 5v5 futsal with all human controlled players has more of an esport vibe to me than FUT.

Seems something purposefully omitted really, get sales this year on 5 a side then next year on multiplayer 5 a side then the following year on created pros 5 a side
 
Would it kill EA to fix the problem where it hangs when someone rage quits on you?

Also, why can't they bring back saving replays of goals? I have to record them on my phone ffs

You do realise xbox and ps record all the gameplay in a session.
 
I assumed that VOLTA was online, and would have bought the game. Without it, the mode isn't interesting and they need a decent upgrade somewhere else. I honestly wonder about video game developers when an omission is this glaring.

Volta does have an online mode, it's just not pro clubs style online mode which is most people were hoping for.

yeah particularly defending i.e. swapping between LB and CB and a midfielder rapidly over a few seconds, would like this tightened up somehow

it hasn't been touched for what feels like a few seasons now.

would love to see them find a way to allow teams to develop and build up the rest of their AI players as well so you have a bit more control on their overall ability instead of feeling like you have been lumped with a bunch of spuds who can't defend.

I reckon they might look to add weekly challenges to pro clubs as well.

Not sure if everyone on here has heard the update on this, but volta's 'online' mode is pretty much squad battles from what I have heard. This brand new mode is officially dead 3 months before the game has come out.
