hey i have been in china for the last 5 weeks so i am a bit out of it with all the footy news etc

i try me best 2 keep up to date via the sites and i ofcourse watched all the live scores etc

but can you guys please give me a brief rundown of basically just trade rumours that have something to do with melbourne and major injuries etc

also retirments (rigoni the only one i can think of retiring possibly) and delistments

as for trades i have heard stuff bout jolly and thompson wanted out and i read some threa bout bruce going 2 hawthorn

anyway your help is appreciated

thats about it really, thomo wants to go back to adelaide to play for either team, so we're trying to keep him
theres just bn a whole lot of rubbish rumours that noone should believe until theyve happened,

yeh i think rigoni and williams will go, but then again does williams have much room left for development? is that what he's still around for?
i hope dutchy is traded, as long as he doesnt play with us again.

Williams made his debut in '99. So I seriously doubt there's any better to come.

Basically Thompson looks likely to be traded to either Adelaide or Port Adelaide.

Jolly has just asked to be traded to another club, presumably because he can't get a game as first ruckman.

Brett Ratten also left and is looking for a job as senior coach in the WAFL, SANFL, etc...

Bruce has had contract problems, he wants more than his current $300,000 (or is it $350,000 I can't remember) and obviously a lot of clubs are chasing him. I'm confident he will stay though.

Armstrong is possible trade bait to WA.

Bruce, Bizzell, Johnstone, Rivers, Davey, Robertson and Thompson are all out of contract.
