Final 8?

whats everyones thought on carlton making the finals? i know its a big call, but its possible. We only travel 2 more times this season, something which is really hurting us is our % (hopefully it can get a boost from the next 2 games from haw and rich-thats is we dont stuff everything up)

We can make the finals, if;

1. We get support for Fevola in the forward line. Whitnall must start producing.
2. Mott or French to actually play like a ruckman, unfortunately French was actually starting too until he injured himself and lastly,
3. Team belief.

No Chance.
Anything more than 8 wins will be very good from here on in.

Even with the eveness of the comp, you'd think it would take at least 11 wins & a good percentage.

We have major deficiencies that get exposed against top sides or teams with "monsters" in attack.

But the improvement is there & we should serioulsy be knocking on the door or close to breaking through next year.

12/1 i'd say. We will have to win at least 7 of our 11 remaining games which would give us 11 wins but with our bad percentage, you would say Carlton would have to win a minimum of 12 games to make the finals, so we would have to win 8 of our remaining 11 games, thats a huge ask.
We should win our next 2 games against Hawthorn & Richmond so that would leave us requiring 6 from 9, which is possible but i think we may fall just short.

I think that we will just miss the eight this year but a lot to look forward to next season. I'm sure the boys will so enough improvement this year to show that we can be a force in 2005.
