Yeah and He Kicked about 20-30 Goals in the Finals and we do need a Tall Forward who can Kick Goals

have not got all my lists with me but my comments on some of the chances at #30;

Carey - write up was attached earlier. worth noting he got a rookie contract with SA Redbacks but will knock back if drafted.

Sheppard and Hutchings - Both similar types from WA who are real hard in and under types. Neither has a burst of speed but they do have terrific endurance and are very courageous. Sheppard I think is probably a bit better for mine but stuff all splits them.

Duncan I think is a chance to slip to here. plenty of write ups on him in the various threads but he is a talented guy and I would have him ahead of the other two but less likely to be there.

McNeil - I think he is a terrific player but I always end up rating these type of guys to highly. Will surely be there at 30 and would be in the 30-60 mix. Another who is real hard at it, skills very good as is his endurance. Been terrific and TAC level and for NSW as wells over last two years. Has a lot of fans so will be interesting to see where he goes but he is good.

Bastinac - I think this kid could drop to 30. If he did we should slam dunk it. Massive engine, beaut skills and turns a game. Very good at the clearances and can go fwd as well.

Thomas - has trained at Lexus hence all the rumours around Pies taking him. Also been in the media advertising nobody has committed to him so who knows.......Pies probably do want him tucked away! I dont see him as a 30. I think 62 is about right. For those who havent seen him, nuggety type who has good endurance, neat skills and is good at the clearances.

Beams - only seen video of Claye once. Very much like his brother although looks taller. Runs well and looked to have pretty good skills. We have some friends up on Coast who have seen more of him and it looks like he has been held back as a smoky selection in the draft. My money is on Pies looking at him at 62........78 or rookie if they dont think anybody else wants / interviews him.

Wont be there but the one I want is Melksham. He is terrific both inside and out. Lot of Pendles there.

Would Love Melksham but I think he Might be Gone

Though I would love Bastanic and I heard we have already talked to him.

Talls at 30 are pretty thin for mine.

Panos - would love panos and interesting to note some folk who i know watch a bit of junior footy as well have him slipping. I have him at 8 but would love him to slip.

Griffiths - I think he is a real chance to be there. Big lad at 199cm I think and moves really well. Could play cHF or FF. Leads up well and if in front wont be beaten. Massive kick on him as well which is usually pretty good. KNock is that he hasnt really dominated yet.

Fitzpatrick - plenty of comment on him but he could be here. Terrific potential.

Hopefully Thomas and Clay both slip down but I don't think Thomas will if we don't take him with pick 30 but Clay may slip down. I've heard he mightn't even get picked up in the National Draft so if he is still there at pick 62 or 78 it wouldn't hurt to pick him up IMO.

actually the one i missed that I would have is Weedon. Not much talk about him but clubs have noticed him. Was at DC and tested pretty well. Plays in and out mid, goes hard at it, good size at around 186cm, skills very good and is very creative. Bit of x factor and has had a really good finish to the year over west.

Get some tape of him if you can.

Weedon is a definite Snoop, has not been included in many phantoms but he will go, probably 2nd round, alot of clubs are keen and i've heard reports of 'nice type' from many.
And Copeland i think you're on the money regarding TD.

I like the look of Ben Griffiths, the fact he is already massive (although im sure some of his 95+kg will fall off him as his fitness goes up) and he is said to have very strong hands above his head
