Its summer, its hot and I'm hungry. Nothing goes down better than fish n chips by the sea side in summer. Sotos Fish n Chips on Semaphore road is the best joint in the state but I might be a bit biased

Anyway the point of this thread is to name your favourite fish and chips, home style pizza places, yiros shops ect...

Bellinies Pizza on Military road goes alright as well

Jack's at Military Rd, Grange used to be awesome. Even moreso when Jack Cahill was there!

For us the local fish and chip shop at Wynn Vale is the best around here. Have awesome chips.

Agree with you on Soto's, but you should try the Yiros Pizza at Ethelton Takeaway\Pizza bar on Hart street........ive never been back to Bellinis since my first Yiros pizza - their other pizzas are pretty good too.

Sema4 BBQ chicken has the best chips, and their chickens aint to bad either.

Bakery - Agree with Porthos that the St Peters bakery is the best one in Adelaide.

Chicken - Chicken Cave on corner of Valetta and Tapleys Hill Rd. They do THE best chips ever, their chicken is awesome as well.

Pizza - La Romano which is on corner of Airport Rd and Henley Beach Rd or Saints Pizza Bar which is on corner of Grange Rd and Military Rd.

Fish n Chips - Am yet to find a fish n chips place that screams out 'come back' time and time again.

The Fish and Chip shop up the road from me was totally awesome, then new people took over and the Chips are extremely oily and ****e now, you can see through the paper it's wrapped in. The crab sticks and yiros go alright though.

Hi Spadge, we thought that we would suss at the one at settlers as its always busy. Must say that its damn good. Havent tried the one on Burton Rd yet, its actually closer than Settlers as we come from just off Diment Rd.

The best bakery would be the one in Gawler, the Gawler South Bakery.

I didn't know that Chicken Chef did fish ?? ... but you are right - that one always seemed to have the best chips of all the outlets.

Dont agree with you on the bakery though, I've always been more a fan of Linkes in Nuri ..... particularly for pasties.
