That's a bit harsh - Barry pleaded guilty too!!!

If Rioli only got 3 weeks.....

Has Rioli been to the tribunal 9 times in the last 5 seasons??? Barry has.

Big difference between Rioli being reported once or twice, instead of Barrys 9 times in 5 seasons.

IMO it is irrelevant whether Primus actually sustained any injury in the attack. It was the nature of the action taken by Hall - off the ball, at the eyes, sustained assault while the man was on the ground, nothing to do with football.

3 weeks minimum straightaway and considering his shocking record of tribunal appearances and despite his guilty plea, he got an even stiffer penalty. Can't complain really.

What a genleman Matthew Primus is though. Walked away without retaliating. That's a true leader.

Matthew Primus would've torn Barry Hall a new arseh*le if he wanted to!

That's bollocks

What have the tribunal been smoking? even as a Port supporter I thought 5 weeks was a bit harsh. I would have accepted 3 weeks for Hall, if it meant 4-6 weeks for Buckley. Now that would be justice, not this pathetic farce.

Seriously... how can the tribunal consider flicking/wiping blood on someone (a criminal offence, no less) worth 1 week when they have given 3 weeks for spitting in the past? It's incomprehensible. I'm disgusted.

What did he do? Must have been pretty bad,

No different to what Joel Bowden did to Camporeale, the difference is, Hall got 5 weeks and Bowden had his report dropped and got to play on like nothing happened.

The Tribunal is a joke.

I have no respect for that insitution, it is inconsistant and that only breeds contempt.

5 weeks is pretty harsh compared to Rioli's 3.

I think it's about right as a penalty though, because gouging/scratching the face is a no-no. Just means Rioli got off lightly IMO.

Can we stop the BS about Sydney getting a great run from the tribunal now? The tribunal is inconsistent and unpredictable - sometimes the Swans benefit, sometimes they cop it - just like 15 other teams.

FWIW, I thought the Buckley decision was correct - it's what I would have given.
